Gary's place was exactly as described. Absolutely perfect location in a great little town. Gary was a excellent host and was very accommodating and understanding with a mix-up (on my end). My only hesitation on recommending Gary's place is that I want it to be available when we come back!! :) Highly recommended and would absolutely stay again!

This cute little ground-floor apartment is right around the corner from downtown Alameda, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants or just around the neighborhood admiring the fascinating architecture. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with toiletries and office supplies in case you forget something. Though some noise is inevitable from the main house above, the occupants took care to minimize it, and it was not an issue for us. Bathtub notes: There is plentiful hot water and a great showerhead. The tub, however, is straight-backed and not comfortable for lounging.

pleasant decor, all the amenities you could need (Laundromat just next door), friendly neighbors, soft bed, shower has great pressure and all the hot water, even some tequila in the cupboard! 😅 Only thing I could complain about is it gets HOT in there on a hot day but just open the doors and hit the fans. Oh and such nice gardening, fragrant flowers everywhere. Thanks Kyle!

Michelle and Peter were excellent hosts! The place was exactly as described, and very homey. The backyard was beautiful, and the inside had lots of touches to make us feel comfortable- blankets for the sofa, TV easy to sign into our netflix and other accounts, kitchen easy to cook in with all the essentials. Michelle and Peter were quick to respond to any messages I sent before and during our stay, and very accommodating. Downtown is an easy walk or very quick drive. Lots of hiking opportunities nearby, and the Coastal trail is great for bicycling. Thanks for a lovely stay!

My favorite stay! I travel frequently for work and love returning to this beautiful spot. Nancy’s home is so cozy and it’s a gift to be able to walk outside and see the Ocean. Can’t recommend the space and Nancy’s hospitality enough! 💗

Ted was very responsive and the place was perfect. This place met and exceeded all of my expectations.

Ricky’s place was perfect for three adults and one infant. It was in a beautiful part of town, very quiet and well-worth the price we paid. Street parking wasn’t too challenging. There was a great local coffee spot 10 minute walk away (called the Butterfly joint). I appreciated the ease of check-in and that everything was very clearly labeled. They even left out a pack and play and kids toys for the baby. Beautiful, secluded back porch. Really aces all around. My one, very small, piece of feedback would be the laundry. It’s coin operated. I don’t mind paying for laundry, but we did have to find a laundry-mat nearby to get coins. So, if you’re planning on using that, make a quick pit-stop first. Otherwise, everything else was great.

A beautiful home and location with wonderful ocean views. Home was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. Kitchenware, including sharp knives for cutting bread were included. The two bedrooms are comfortable. Nice place for two couples or a family. Natalie‘s communication was complete and helpful. It was nice to have the single car garage to keep our car out of the weather and off the street.

Clean and cozy space for our spring break! We’re appreciative of all of the amenities available for our kids (preschooler to middle-school age). Board games, Duplos, and childproofing (the corners of a table were padded) all demonstrated the host’s thoughtfulness for families. House instructions were clear, especially for check out (posted by exit) when things can be stressful. Host also had a detailed and accurate dining and shopping guide which was a nice touch. This was our first time opting to use an Airbnb instead of a hotel and this experience set the bar high for future trips.

This place felt like a bit of a splurge for us, but it was well worth it! Breathtaking natural surroundings aside, it was such a well-equipped home, with nearly everything one could wish for at your fingertips! From fire starting supplies to kitchen implements, Bluetooth speaker to flashlights by the bedside, Kathleen’s thoughtful, stylish amenities made us feel comfortable, cozy, and cared for! As someone else noted in their review, I’ve never returned to the same Airbnb twice, but we’re already longing for another stay at the Haiku House!

We planned a family getaway with our adult kids and their spouses as a belated Christmas gift. Everyone picked Half Moon Bay as the destination. We have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs through the years, so many have been amazing but this one in particular offered such incredible touches to make us feel at home. Nancy really offers what an Airbnb experience should be. The house was perfectly clean, stocked with everything any of us could need along with special treats to enjoy. But what really struck me was not having to work through an endless list of rules and the fact that checking out was as simple as leaving a beautiful hotel stay. No endless cleaning or ridiculous particulars after spending $$$ for a stay. We felt pampered. Nancy is a 5 star host. We will definitely be back.

Wow! This home has an exceptional setting - the spectacular views of the ocean from the great room are mesmerizing. The master bedroom and lower level bedrooms all have gorgeous views of the ocean as well. The Ocean Bluff Trail passes right behind the house, making it so convenient to explore the coast. Great for nature lovers - we saw seals, deer, rabbits, fox, and many varieties of sea birds. Also the home is pet friendly and our dog loved it! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

It's a nice place with super comfy beds and fancy bathrooms, as everyone says! Unfortunately the living/dining spaces and furniture are much less comfortable, the layout isn't the most conducive to spending time together, and the kitchen was missing some key items. To her credit, Hila was very responsive and even overnighted a box of missing supplies, and offered to fix issues quickly. But a lot of things weren't there as we needed them: a kettle, oven mitts, foil, the salt was almost out, only canola no olive oil, etc. While there were a lot of nice touches around the house, there were just as many small annoyances that felt like they wouldn't be tolerated if someone lived there. If you plan to spend most of the day out and just come back to sleep, wash up, and hot tub, this is perfect. If you want to cook and be cozy/comfy together, maybe not ideal? There are beautiful views of the ocean from this spacious home. It was an easy drive to San Francisco and we enjoyed the local restaurants as well. The kitchen was large and well-maintained and it was easy to adjust the house temperature to be comfortable for both the main floor and upstairs.

This place is absolutely incredible - unbelievable location overlooking Muir Beach and the ocean, a beautiful home with everything you could need, and a super host. Totally secluded and incredibly tranquil. Thanks Bev for one of the best stays i’ve had on air bnb in years.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was immaculately clean upon arrival, which we really appreciated. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The location is also a huge plus—just two blocks from a beautiful park, perfect for a morning stroll or some fresh air. One thing to note is that this unit is on the third floor, which was fine for us but did come with some challenges. We have two small children, and it was difficult at times to keep them quiet for the tenants below. If you’re traveling with little ones, just be mindful that noise can carry. Also, the WiFi was not working during our stay, which was a bit inconvenient, but hopefully, that was just a temporary issue. Overall, a great stay in a well-kept space with a wonderful host. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful condo only a block and 1/2 away from the beach/pier. The home was fully stocked and the beds were very very comfy! Loved the outdoor patio area with the fire pit.

Arlene's place is close to the beach. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all that is needed. Arlene provided tons of suggestions. We booked because the place has parking. However the other tenants were always parked funny, sideways, over the lines which made it difficult to park and still get into your vehicle. Definitely not Arlenes fault. The lights on the security system were a lot when your getting in from your night. The stairs are rough for luggage. But the place is clean, comfortable and was easy to get to san francisco.

We had a great time staying at Melanie Joy's place. The location can't be beat, and her place was clean and spacious for the two of us. Would recommend for a nice stay in peaceful in Pacifica.

We had a lovely stay at Andrew’s Air BnB. Location was fantastic! One block from restaurants, bars and cafes. Didn’t need our car rental so we returned it early. Uber/Lifts were a good option when the walking was too far. One was always a few minutes away. The rental is ground level which for us was great. Safety measures were spot on. Thank you Andrew!!
