This retreat on the lake was absolutely perfect for spending time with extended family during a Notre Dame game weekend! The house was flawless! Everything that was described in the listing was exactly how we found it. Our host was super quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Very nice home and backyard. The pontoon boat and kayaks offered much enjoyment. Barbecue pit worked and all amenities. Firepit nice to light and have smores for the kids. Bring bug spray for being out in the evening. Neighbors were very nice also. Great vibe to the area. Would stay again. Highly recommend.

I’ve rented a number of places in this area and Riverdance was very special! The home was clean and well appointed with all you need. Location awesome - everything we like to do (downtown Douglas, downtown Saugatuck, Oval Beach and hiking trails) was 10 mins or less alway. Kitchen well appointed. The star was the pool and we enjoyed it so much! A pool with no fencing between the pool and the river - that is rare and GOLD! Todd was great to deal with and very responsive. Great property, great stay!

The house & property are beautiful & so serene. It is perfect for a girl's weekend! Porch is perfect for coffee in the morning overlooking the lake & the a bonfire at night over looking the lake! Kitchen has pretty much everything you need & the master bed is sooo comfortable!! House is super clean & just decorated so cute! The host is very nice, accommodating & responsive. It is nearly perfect except for the price. It is a little high at almost $1000 for 2 nights (in the office season) except if your splitting between 4 or 5 people... like for a girl's night.

Howard is an amazing host. He was super responsive and accommodating to our large group. He had all the amenities that were listed on the property and more! We had more than enough towels and even kitchen appliances, spices, and utensils. His instructions were clear about checking out and our group had a wonderful weekend. We would definitely come back if he’ll have us! Thanks, Howard!

We had a very nice stay this Lake house! We were looking for a place that would be my wife and I and our 2 dogs with easy access to a clean lake that was private and still had access to some dog-friendly restaurants, parks, etc. This place perfectly covered all those needs with a great open layout family room / kitchen / dining room (not common in many moderately sized lake houses) with plenty of room to spread out and lots of windows. It was also nice to have the kayaks, SUP, and paddle boat available to use. Kyle and Kelly were great hosts and we hope to stay again!

A great place for our extended family to stay! We had a big group, including 5 young kids. The place was plenty big, very clean, and well stocked. The kids loved playing on the sandy beach and boating/tubing on the lake. The furnishings were all high quality—comfy lounge chairs outside, comfortable sheets on the beds, etc. A lovely place!

The yellow retreat house was perfect for our quick stay. It was clean and spacious and we felt very comfortable there. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. We had a great stay.

My husband and I had the most amazing time. We loved that we could walk to most of the places we really wanted to go to. The hosts were so kind and checked in during the stay to make sure there were no issues!

Great stay. We had a wonderful time and the arcade games were a bonus. House was so cozy. It started snowing just as we arrived so the views were gorgeous-even had a few deer show up to complete the view. Perfect place for a winter getaway-cant wait to stay there again in the summer.

From the outset, this was a very enjoyable Airbnb experience. Geri provided a very useful amount of information about the property and area eateries, wineries, etc. The home was made available to us earlier than expected, was clean, very well-stocked, and ready for our use. The WIFI apparatus was robust and very easy to connect to. We truly enjoyed the beautiful, wooded surroundings...especially in mid-October...spectacular colors. We got onto the lake for some fishing using the provided kayaks. Nice bass in the lake! We used the firepit each evening, so the firewood that was made available to us was put to excellent use! I cannot overstate how impressed we were with the thoughtful outfitting of the home...kitchenware, toiletries, bedding, games, outdoor furniture, plenty of coffee, and more; everything we might want was available to us. Geri's husband John gave us a fun and interesting tour of their neighboring farmstead...highly recommended! Kudos Geri!

Tim's place was amazing for a weekend getaway with my girlfriends! we enjoyed the hot tub and the spacious living room and kitchen.

We all agreed that Deb’s Place was one of the best places we’ve stayed. The location was perfect…very walkable to all the shops and restaurants of New Buffalo, but also so easy to hop in the car and drive to Art Attack in Three Oaks or Greenbush in Sawyer. We loved that we had our own bedrooms plus two baths to share among 5 of us. The yard was awesome and the only bummer was it was too cold for us to enjoy the fire pit or the hot tub (32 degrees on April 26th? Crazy!). Deb was easy to communicate with and the place was perfectly decorated and had all of the little amenities that made it feel like home. Overall, a great place to stay any time of year!!

We had the greatest girls weekend here . House is cozy, decorated beautifully, well appointed with everything you could need. Walkable to beach & a fun breakfast restaurant. Spacious common areas. Large bedrooms. Great backyard with comfortable , nice furniture and a fire table. Cozy front porch with comfortable seats . Lots of seating in the house . Huge kitchen with every utensil, bowl, plate or cup you may need . Host was very responsive to all of our questions .

Our stay at La Casita De Lago was fantastic! It had everything we needed and was perfect for our family for a couple of nights. The backyard led to a serene lake, complete with a great fire pit and charming party lights draped across the lawn. Just down the street, we enjoyed a huge park with stunning mature trees. We’d definitely stay here again!

If i could give Samantha 10 stars I would. The house is absolutely beautiful. We stayed here for 3 months due to a work project in Michigan. The space was more than enough to accommodate my crew during the stay. Samantha was very responsive and very understanding. Without hesitation I would definitely recommend Samanthas home. And if we are ever in Michigan again, I will definitely book with her.

My family and I were blown away by the house and its surroundings. We were a party of 10 adults attending my nephew's wedding at the Marion Magnolia Farms venue which was about 2 miles away. There was plenty of room, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals. Except the food, of course. Plenty of bath towels, blankets, etc. Bring bottled water. The backyard setting adjacent to the lake was tranquil and peaceful. The weather was beautiful for October (high 70's). We spent the evening around the fire pit making s'mores. No mosquitoes or flies. Yay!!!!!!! You literally will not want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!! But we had to get back to reality. For 3 days and 2 nights we were able to escape the busyness of everyday living. Thanks Amy for allowing us to have a wonderful mini-vacation/wedding celebration at your AirBnB.

Great lake house for our multi-family gathering. Pontoon rental was perfect for fishing! We caught our limit of bluegill each day. Young and old especially loved the swinging in the great room looking into the lake. Power recliner and couch made watching TV relaxing. Girls loved painting rocks. And our 3 year old grandson was in love with cars and toys to play with.

Second time staying there, even better in the fall. Surroundings are beautiful!

If you're looking for a peaceful lakehouse getaway, this place has all the modern conveniences along with access to a private dock for fishing. Catfish were biting! Although there are other properties on either side and across from this one, we never saw another soul for the most part. Daily visits from swans on the lake were an added bonus. The local grocery store is a 6 minute drive and had everything we needed. There's not much to do in Allegan, so this place is for those looking for a serene retreat with the amenities of our own home. Would definitely return for another visit!
