Welcome to our 145 year old cosy cottage in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. We are located in a perfect location in the countryside in the quaint village of Defynnog on the A4067, 8 miles from the base of Pen y Fan. Our cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 adults, plus there is a sofa bed which could accommodate an additional 2 adults if required. Your own bOur aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible whilst here, and we will be at the end of the phone should you need us

In the designated dark skies area of the Brecon Beacons National Park with miles of walks and exciting visitor attractions, Wern Ddu offers the perfect dog friendly escape for up to four guests in a relaxing atmosphere within a short distance from Brecon, Merthyr Tydfil and the villages of Sennybridge and Defynnog with their traditional pubs and shops.

Snug Oak Hut with a view on a Welsh Hill Farm

Set like a jewel in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, this tiny house is inspired by a traditional shepherd hut and offers super luxurious accommodation. Both cosy and private it's a place to snuggle down and get away from it all. It is cosy, light, airy and free of draughts. It has a clean, fresh comfortable feel and a traditional log burner. If the weather is good it is an ideal location for outdoor pursuits. If the weather is poor, stay inside and watch films, listen to music or play games.

An historic fully refurbished character barn attached to our traditional Welsh Long House home. Having a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed accessing it via a beautiful spiral staircase. Downstairs is an open plan lounge kitchen dinner with a wood burning stove and a beautiful chandelier. The kitchen is well appointed including electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a wine cooler. Large windows are at the front and back of the property with the most stunning views.

Just 10 miles from the market town of Brecon, nestled in the Brecon Beacons; South Wales' highest peak Penyfan, is only a short drive away, making it an attractive tourist location.

Perfect for cyclists, walkers and a short distance from Usk reservoir with excellent trout fishing. There is a small mini mart about 3 miles away where you can pick up basic supplies.

The Old Sunday School Room next to the River Hydfer is a lovely cottage in the centre of the tiny hamlet of Traianglas, just 2 miles from the village of Trecastle. It is perfect for couples or families who enjoy staying in a traditional Victorian building that has been renovated sympathetically to include all mod cons. In the heart of the Brecon Beacons, the cottage is ideally placed for hillwalking, cycling and exploring.

Drey Cottage - Dog Friendly -Brecon Beacons

Our beautiful dog friendly cottage is situated in the Brecon Beacons national park, with a spectacular view of Pen y Fan from the lounge window and from the spacious tiered garden. If you're looking for a perfect winter get away with a wood burner in the living room, a fire pit in the large garden (with logs provided) and plenty of hot water for a dip in the roll top bath, this is the perfect place !

Dderw Las is an impressive and secluded, detached bungalow with hot tub in a superb location where guests can enjoy the magnificent views across farmland towards the Brecon Beacons. Set in the rolling countryside yet only a two minutes' walk to an excellent community owned pub Dderw Las is a perfect place to stay and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
