Very nice stay ... modern and clean, plenty of space ! Wonderful pool area. Easy walk to the village center. We very much enjoyed our visit !

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa na Herdade do Frei Cuco! A casa é espaçosa, muito bem cuidada, rodeada por um lindo jardim e com uma piscina perfeita para os dias de calor. O ambiente é super tranquilo, ideal para descansar e aproveitar a natureza. Francisco foi um anfitrião excelente, sempre disponível e atencioso, o que tornou a experiência ainda melhor. Recomendo muito para quem procura sossego, conforto e uma verdadeira experiência alentejana. Com certeza queremos voltar!

We had a very nice family holiday in Porto Côvo. The kitchen is the highlight of the house, it has pretty much everything for cooking and a lot of space. The terrase / balconies are lovely. Perfect for 3 to 4 couples. It's a big house with different areas if someone needs a quite moment. We really enjoyed it and would for sure come back. The host is very friendly, welcoming and is very committed that his guests feel comfortable. He even got us a late check out as there was not another booking for the same day. The only negative point is that the fourth room with double bed is in the attic storey.

I wish I could give 10 stars instead of 5 for the communication of the host. I asked quite a few questions and everytime I was met with a really friendly and helpfull response within minutes. The house is beautiful, needs little repairs here and there but overall super comfortable. The kitchen is super well equipped and huge, cooking is wonderful in this place! Little things I didn't like: - The house has big windows, and multiple neighbors can look into the garden and the house. Not so much privacy - The couch had a lot of doghairs, and we had no way of cleaning the hairs from our clothing properly We were able to extend for one night and also have a late checkout, which was really great. In the end we left the house with a great feeling, so thank you!

Die Unterkunft war super schön. Der naheliegende Strand, war super ruhig und lud zum entspannen ein. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit.

Só tenho coisas boas a dizer sobre o alojamento e sobre o anfitrião! A casa é maravilhosa, numa zona super tranquila e com todas as comodidades. Foi pena não ter estado clima para aproveitar a piscina, mas de certo que teremos mais oportunidades. Fantástico 😊

Casa situada numa zona calma, pequena piscina agradável nos dias de calor. Apesar de ficar a 20min da costa, vale a pena. A vila tem tudo o que é preciso, mercados e restaurantes. A casa em si é bem equipada, típica casa de campo. Muito agradável.

We had a great stay at Ricardo’s. It is as described, very comfortable, lots of space, quiet, great pool (heated), and close to everything. The beds were comfortable and Ricardo was an amazing host. He even brought us ice cream and brownies one night! Highly recommended, we will be back!

We are seasoned travelers, very often with Airbnb as well. I’m rarely completely satisfied with everything, as we have been at Henrique’s lovely home in Comporta. No doubt it is an expensive area, and we went in the highest high season, but even with the price we still felt it was worth it. Hosts very responsive, home had everything we needed, and the local people were so kind. Will definitely return - thank you, Henrique!

Nuno is a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing. His villa is equipped with more than you’d ever need during your stay and if you’re travelling with children this Villa is perfect. Lots of toys and books for children and plenty of useful things like a baby bath and baby pool etc. Would highly recommend Nuno and this incredible Villa. We will definitely be back

O ambiente natural é maravilhoso e tivemos muita sorte com o tempo podendo usufruir da excelente piscina. We stayed here for a weekend in April. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and it rained the entire time. The house has an amazing outdoor area with a pool, patio, BBQ grill that would be absolutely perfect on a sunny day. The inside of the house was comfortable enough. The location is great and the outdoor space really makes it! Would love to come back when the weather is better to fully enjoy everything the house has to offer. Thank you to the hosts for a smooth stay!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ruhig und gleichzeitig nah zum Strand und Beachclub. Inês ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, sehr hilfreich, flexibel und mit kurzen Antwortzeiten, wenn Fragen sind. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Let me start with a massive THANK YOU to João for being such an Amazing host!!! I celebrated my partner's 40 with his friends at João's place and we couldn't be happier to have chosen this place! The house is fully equiped with all the appliances you need. It is remote enough to wake up with the peace of nature itself, cozy enough to cuddle indoors by the fire place when the weather isn't great and when it gets chilli at night. Collecting oranges from the trees on the backyard to make orange juice became my hobby! And yes!! I will do it all again!! João helped me with great suggestions of restaurants, cafes, bars, markets and even where to get a Birthday Cake. He was also kind enough to give me a discount based on weather conditions in order to reasure we had the best time at his! and he kept on being very friendly and responsive with everything we asked for!!! Thank you Once Again!!! See you next time!!

Sofia was a very responsive host and provided support throughout. The house is beautiful, very well located (you need a car to move around in this region) between Carvalhal and Comporta villages giving you access to beaches and village amenities very easily. Very good restaurants and shops a short car drive. We, family of 4, 2 adults and two kids really enjoyed the place. It's got everything you need. There's a Playstation, lots of dvds (children included) and of course you can log-in to your netflix/etc. The internet was very good and reliable. The pool was a bit cold even with the heating, but I guess it has also to do with the weather during our stay. Yes, the pool is shallow, but all the family can have fun. For the kids, it's safer and they loved it, stayed inside the pool and playing around it most of the time. Very good stay, we plan to return. Thank you Sofia.

This place is the perfect hideaway if you’re looking for peace and quiet far away from any tourism. The house, pool and garden were even more beautiful than the pictures suggested, we were blown away! The house has everything you need and its cozy interior makes you feel right at home. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms are in great condition and the beds are very comfortable. Lisette and Jorge gave us a warm welcome and paid much attention to questions before and during our stay. We will be happy to come again. Thank you for this amazing experience! 🥰🥰🥰

The stay at Mariana and Pedros wonderful Villa was everything we had hoped for. For two people we had more then enough space. They live right in the same building and were super responsive and kind, but also were careful to give us space and leave us alone, to not interfere with our holiday. The pool, with the adjacent area is just fantastic. There are peacocks roaming the property and the entire estate throws you back into a different rural Portugal. The communication from Mariana was fantastic, as there was a blackout on the entire Iberia Peninsula, she was super fast to tell us what was happening, what we should do to prepare and kept us updated all through the day. And before it became night, she had a antique petroleum lamp and lots of candles for us to not stay in the dark. 10/10 would not be anywhere else during a once in decade blackout, then in Mariana and Pedros home. We thank them a lot and will keep this stay in our hearts.

Accueil courtois dès notre arrivée. Un endroit et une maison de rêve! Tout était impeccable. La cuisine très bien équipée, il ne manque de rien pour préparer les repas. Belles grandes salles de bains. Chambres à coucher impeccables et très spacieuses. Quoiqu’un peu en retrait, la qualité de la maison compense pour cet éloignement. Séjour mémorable, merci

The accommodation here is absolutely perfect. Spacious, well equipped, comfy beds, great pool, beautifully decorated. You really do feel at home here, and can totally relax knowing there is no one else around to disturb. You definitely will need a car, but generally speaking most amenities are approx a 25 minute drive away. We throughly enjoyed our stay here!

Good size house for a big family, very good and sunny space outside with a big pool. The kitchen had all we needed to cook and eat at home, and the dinner table could accommodate everybody at the same time. Very close to the beach - you can even see the sea from some of the windows in the first level - and all the amenities and shops in the local village.

Casa com todas as comodidades e tudo em optimas condições. O monte é o local certo para recarregar baterias. Para os adultos foi optimo para por a conversa e a leitura em dia. Os miudos, entre a piscina, bicicletas ( que a Helena foi uma querida e arranjou a tempo da nossa estadia), jogos com bolas, e snoker, estiveram sempre ocupados e nem os ouvia. o Obama, o meu velhote de 4 patas, andava feliz e contente com todo o espaço que tinha ao dispor e agradeceu muito o osso que foram tão simpaticos em deixar. A Herdade é um sítio muito sossegado e desafogado onde passámos uns dias espectaculares. Está no meio do campo, mas num instante estamos em Santiago do Cacém ou em Sines, a um pulinho da praia. É perfeita para quem tem miúdos pequenos e para quem goste de animais. Os espaços exteriores estão muito cuidados, a piscina é fabulosa e adequada aos mais novos. O interior da casa é simples e espaçoso, com uma decoração cuidada. Tem pouca luz como é normal num monte alentejano, e por isso é fresco e não foi preciso ligar o AC muitas vezes. Tem tudo o que é necessário para preparar refeições simples. A Patrícia recebeu-nos muito bem e tencionamos voltar em breve.
