The Maltings, Haddington is a converted mill building next to the river Tyne in beautiful East Lothian. My flat is on the ground floor so it is good for wheelchair access. There is a designated parking space in the car park. Haddington has some great shops, bars and restaurants. Edingburgh is 30 minutes by car, 45 minutes away by bus, or there is a train station at Drem close by. East lothian is great for cycling, walking or immersing yourself in our many varied ancient monuments & castles.
Guests have access to the kitchen, lounge diner and their own private bathroom
Haddington is an ancient market town. It has some terrific cycle routes with excellent coffee and cake stops along the routes.

    Comfortable, Happy, home just a few minutes walk from the beach, and 15/20 walk along the beach to North Berwick Town. Your room is quiet, warm, light & bright (with black out curtains). Good local amenities and public transport, also regular trains to Edinburgh city center taking only 34 minutes. We are a relaxed house and are happy for people to use the garden, livingroom, kitchen & washing machine. We are friendly and always happy to give advice on the beautiful local area and Edinburgh city.

    A lovely wee bright & cosy room in an upstairs conversion of our bungalow, quietly tucked at the back of the main house. You'll have peace and quiet, but are welcome to come and use the dining room space. Our home is on a quiet street in the middle of North Berwick, a 3-5minute walk from the train station. There is parking on our driveway. We're just a 5 minute walk to the West Beach and High Street, so golf, shops, cafes, walks and restaurants are all easily accessible.
    You will have an upstairs bedroom in our family home, with access to a private shower room. I'm afraid the room hasn't got a view, but it's got plenty of natural light through a velux window which has a blind for nighttime. There's plenty space in the garage to store golf clubs, luggage, surf boards etc. We have a lovely garden with lawns and a patio which again you're welcome to use and enjoy. We have a dog, he's a bit of a bonkers springer spaniel but very very friendly . He stays downstairs at all times, and there's a stair gate to make sure he doesn't come nosying upstairs! In the mornings, we'll leave out a selection of self-service continental breakfast out for you. It can be busy for us in the mornings getting ready for nursery and school drop off, but Sam and I will be around and available to help with any questions you might have.
    Whatever your interests, there's something for everyone here in North Berwick. Walk a section of the John Muir Way, explore the beautiful beaches at Tyningham and Yellowcraigs, or wander down the high street with it's wonderful selection of independent shops and cafes.

    A delightful studio apartment just 4 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the town centre and beach, and a relaxed 30 minute train journey to the heart of Edinburgh. The apartment with a private entrance, sits on the side of a family home. Recently refurbished with a kitchen / living / bedroom and a comfortable cast-iron double bed. The shower-room / w.c. is fitted with a modern powerful shower. The shabby chic decor has a gentle seaside theme to reflect the feel of North Berwick.
    The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a 125 year-old stone building in a quiet street just three minutes walk from the railway station and six minutes from the town centre and beach. It sits on the side of a family home but has its own entrance. The location is ideal for all local amenities, including shops, bars, restaurants, golf courses and the world-famous Seabird Centre. A frequent train service provides easy access to the heart of Edinburgh with a relaxed journey through the East Lothian countryside taking approximately 30 minutes. The studio has recently been refurbished and contains a large kitchen / living / bedroom area with an IKEA king-size bed. The renovation is modern but adopts a gentle seaside, shabby-chic theme to reflect the general feel of North Berwick. A small hall and light shower room / w.c. complete the accommodation. The kitchen area is well equipped with a ceramic hob and electric oven, a microwave, toaster and dishwasher. TV, DVD and unlimited free WiFi are included. Ample hanging space is provided along with a washing machine in the hall cupboard. Old Abbey Road is a quiet street. Like the town of North Berwick, it is steeped in history with the apartment sitting opposite the ruins of North Berwick Priory which was established 800 years ago. Guests are also welcome to visit our chickens in the family garden and can look forward to fresh eggs for breakfast (so long as the 'girls' are in the mood). Finally, please note the studio is strictly non-smoking and we require at least one the guests to be 25 or over.
    The neighbourhood consists of a quiet residential area with a wide range of interesting houses, not to mention a 12th Century Abbey opposite the apartment. The lively and prosperous North Berwick High Street is a five minute walk away.

    Wee Windy sits within the grounds of our family home. It is an ideal retreat for couples but sleeps up to 4 people. It is situated just 15 minutes walk from North Berwick train station, 20 minutes from the high street and beach, and is a 35 minute train journey from Edinburgh's city centre. It has an airy but cosy feel, with lots of natural light, and is decorated in a coastal theme. It also has a private entrance - but shared gate entrance - which allows guests to come and go at any time.
    Wee Windy comprises an open plan living room and kitchen, one bedroom, and a shower room. The living room and kitchen area is bright, comfortable, and great for socialising. There is a sofa which converts to a bed on request (with an extra person charge of £10 per person per night). There is also a large wall mounted smart television with Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, and BBC iPlayer services to name a few. The kitchen is well equipped if you choose to cook and has a breakfast bar, oven and built-in microwave, Induction hob, dishwasher, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine. Guests also have access to a washing machine and drying area in the adjoining laundry room. The bedroom is minimalist and cosy, with excellent wardrobe space, and has a super king size bed (which can be unzipped and converted into two singles if you give us advance notice). The shower room contains a walk-in digital shower and has underfloor heating, as well as a heated towel rail.
    North Berwick is a stunning seaside town and was voted the best place to live in Scotland by the Sunday Times in 2017. The gorgeous coastline, thriving community, and incredible seafood are just a few reasons why! It is an excellent place to visit if you are active and outdoorsy, with two beautiful beaches, wildlife-rich waters, the Scottish Seabird Centre, and the statuesque North Berwick Law overlooking the town and islands. Sailors, animal lovers, bird watchers, and hikers will be in their element. If you are a keen golfer, you will already know that there is an abundance of golf courses in the surrounding areas. Our local courses, the North Berwick Golf Club and Glen Golf Club, are both a 5 minute drive away from Wee Windy, as are the public putting greens and tennis courts. The High Street is quaint and home to a mix of artisan, independent shops, cafes, coffee houses, and restaurants, where every taste and budget are catered for. There genuinely is something for everyone. Netherlaw is a quiet, leafy street in a residential area set back from the town centre. The North Berwick sports centre is a 5 minute walk along the road from Wee Windy and boasts a great range of exercise classes as well as a swimming pool, gym, squash courts, and a cafe. We are also close to North Berwick Law which you can climb to see stunning views out to the islands Fidra, Lamb, Craigleith, Bass Rock, and May.

  • Era uma longa jornada de Oxfordshire, mas era uma jornada direta e menos estressante do que ir a lugares mais próximos de nossa casa, como Dorset e Devon. E valeu a pena. North Berwick está situado na bela paisagem costeira. O Kerry's Wee Windy oferece acomodações leves, arejadas e bem projetadas. Fica a 15 minutos a pé da beira-mar e isso significa que a acomodação é tranquila e oferece a oportunidade de fazer um pouco de exercício indo e voltando das elegantes lojas de North Berwick e excelentes cafés e restaurantes.     Lovely bright traditional 2 bedroom flat.
    Guests have the whole flat, which is on the top (2nd) floor. Access is via an internal traditional tenement staircase. The building dates back to 1880's with stunning open views to the front and rear. Sorry, no pets allowed.
    Gullane is a well-kept village surrounded by golf courses and beautiful coastal walks. The award-winning stunning beach, which is backed by large sand dunes, located a short 10 minute walk from the flat. Gullane is the home of Muirfield which has hosted The Open Championship on numerous occasions. In addition to Muirfield, Gullane is the site of several other high-quality golf courses in the village and surrounding area. Guests will be spoilt for choice with wonderful restaurants all within walking distance. Chez Roux at Muirfield , La Potiniere, The Main Course and with the newly opened Tom Kitchin's Bonnie Badger just next door. Be sure to book in advance as these restaurants are very popular with locals and holiday makers.

    One of three bedrooms, this single room is very comfortable with a wash basin with lovely views to North Berwick Law. Shares a beautiful bathroom. We provide a continental breakfast for short stays. There is a fridge available for guests to use.
    North Berwick is a beautiful seaside town with an excellent range of activities including two stunning beaches within minutes walk of our home. There are two first class golf courses in the town as well as world class courses in the surrounding areas. The Scottish Sea Bird centre is a five minute walk away. Other additional local activities include: Putting greens. Tennis courts. Local swimming baths and fully equipped sport centre with gym and there is also a new studio offering drop in Yoga/ Pilates amongst other activities. The High Street is charming and offers an interesting blend of artisan and independent shops, cafes, coffee shops and restaurants. There are a wide range of eateries to suit every taste and budget. If the weather permits a picnic on the beach there is a supermarket very closeby open until 10pm.

Kernow Cottage has flexible bedroom layout suitable for families, couples & golfing tours.
    Gullane offers a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Many fabulous golf courses are a walk or short drive away making this property an ideal base for golfing tours. Likewise, Kernow Cottage is suitable for family vacations. There are numerous activities for families nearby and lovely sandy beaches. The area is popular with walkers, bird watchers, and water sports enthusiasts. It is a perfect bolt hole for a short break to the beautiful 'Garden of Scotland' or for sightseeing, and taking in the arts and culture the capital city has to offer. 1 super king bedroom and 1 twin bedroom as standard, however other combinations will be arranged upon request. Both bedrooms have zip-linked beds allowing for various combinations of sleeping arrangements. They can be set up as singles or super king-sized beds to suit your requirements and we use quality linen for a comfortable night's sleep.     We are offering a spacious 2 bedroom flat with 1 bathroom (shower and bath), kitchen and large living area. This property is situated above the Auld Hoose public house. The West beach is literally on the doorstep with only a 5 minute walk to the Scottish Seabird Centre. Check in is between 2pm and 6pm and check out is no later than 10am on morning of departure. There will be someone there to meet and greet upon arrival.
    North Berwick is surrounded by beautiful golf courses and of course the beach. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to eat out.

    My place is close to Yellowcraig Beach (one of the best beaches in Scotland), between Gullane and North Berwick. You’ll love my place because of the quiet, rural location, the comfy beds, the views and the high ceilings. My place is good for couples, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Pets are subject to an additional £30 cleaning fee per pet per stay, payable on arrival. Pet fees are not included in the price you will have already paid.
    Yellowcraig Loft is a first floor 2 bedroom "granny flat" accessed by an external staircase. The space has high ceilings throughout so feels very spacious. As we sometimes stay in the property ourselves, you will find that there are all "mod cons". We provide linen , towels and all household essentials so you just need to bring your food a drink. We also facilitate online deliveries from all of the main supermarkets.
    We are situated on the Archerfield Estate, next to Archerfield Links and Muirfield, so right in the heart of the East Lothian Golf Coast. Our close proximity to Yellowcraig Beach makes our Loft the ideal holiday destination for families with young children.

    The Wee Studio is a pretty cottage set within the walled garden of our home which is less than 10-minutes walking distance from North Berwick's beautiful beaches, vibrant High St and train station (Edinburgh 33min). The Wee Studio is light, airy and all on one level. It is comprised of a studio bedroom/living room, separate bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The Wee Studio is in a quiet and private location with off-street parking and its own patio area - you are welcome to share our garden.
    The Wee Studio is set in a quiet corner at the bottom of our walled garden which is accessed through a shared gate from the driveway. There is parking available for one car on the driveway. There is a patio area with table and chairs adjacent to a shallow pond on the approach to the cottage. The inside is comprised of an open-plan living and sleeping area with a fresh and homely feel. The living space is furnished with a dining table and chairs to seat 4, a sofa and TV/DVD player (freeview), plus Wi-Fi and a selection of family DVDs. There is a standard double and a single bed suitable for 2 adults or 2 adults and a child and plenty of wardrobe space and spare linen. A high chair and cot are available on request. There is a separate fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven and gas hob in addition to a microwave oven, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge with small freezer compartment. The bathroom is a good size and has an over-the-bath shower. The Wee Studio has it's own central heating which may be adjusted for your comfort. Extra space is available in the garage or secure shed for bikes/golf clubs, watersports equipment etc.
    North Berwick is a charming and friendly harbour town with 2 beautiful beaches ideal for families and water sports. It has a varied and vibrant High Street well served by great cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and a range of boutique shops. Favorite attractions in North Berwick include, a 'stomp' up to the top of our local hill (North Berwick Law) to enjoy the magnificent views; a boat trip to see the famous Bass Rock and other island bird colonies; and a visit to Tantallon and Dirleton Castles, both in magnificent settings. For younger families The Lodge offers a popular playground and our local swimming pool is only 2 minutes away.

    Peace and tranquility in a gorgeous wooded setting yet easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, harbour and station. The house, which has ample free parking, is a Canadian timber framed chalet set amongst an avenue of sycamore trees. The spacious room benefits from an ensuite shower room and balcony and includes tea/coffee facilities, TV, Wifi, towels, hairdryer and ironing facilities. Continental breakfast includes cereal, fruit, yogurt, fruit juice, toast, conserves and coffee/tea.
    The room has a private balcony with views onto mature trees in a quiet neighbourhood. The house is 10 years old and is unusual in its design being a timber frame eco house with solar panels and underfloor heating. The room is accessed via several flights of stairs from the front entrance. Although the room is self contained we welcome interaction with our guests.
    The house is set in a quiet leafy area of North Berwick making it a tranquil, peaceful location for our guests. The large garden attracts many birds and the odd squirrel and hedgehog. The house is ideally located being 5 minutes walk from the railway station, town centre and beach. The area is well known for its golf courses some of which are within walking distance.

    This picture perfect 2 bedroom cottage boasts some of the best sea water front views this coastline has to offer. Fully equipped kitchen and dining area with amazing views.     The spacious open plan living room is the perfect place to curl up and relax in front of the stove whilst reading a book with a glass of wine or simply watching the TV. The living room then leads out to a slightly smaller lounge, with views to the courtyard garden with an additional TV and sofa. On from here is a small sun room which leads onto the sheltered courtyard patio. It is impossible to not feel chilled and relaxed in this cosy little cottage. Create home-like meals in the open kitchen area with an oven and hob, fridge and cooking utensils with a dining table that seats four located at the end of the kitchen. Perfect for a family dinner and a get together meal with friends.
    Aberlady is a pretty village on the East Lothian coast offering a pub and restaurants all in easy walking distance from the cottage. It lies on the coastal road from Edinburgh as it winds its way along the picturesque East Lothian coast. In prime golf country, Aberlady boasts the excellent Kilspindie links course, while a landscape of fairways and greens stretches east to Gullane and beyond. The shore here is a nationally important refuge for thousands of geese in the autumn. They are an incredible spectacle as they fly in to roost on the mudflats. Marshes, beach and the rocky coast of the Firth of Forth under a big sky makes for an impressive setting.

    The Coach House Stables Studio: A bright, newly renovated stable conversion minutes from the beach in the charming village of Gullane
    The Stables is a wonderful retreat for couples, with light and bright, studio style, open-plan living. Small but perfectly formed! The kitchenette/living area is connected to the bedroom area by a corridor and not separated by walls/doors. Although ideally suited for 2 people, there is a sofa in the living area which converts to a small double bed on request (extra person change of £10 per person, per night). We also welcome well behaved dogs! Exposed roof beams, an open fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows and original wood panelling make this former stables a perfect base from which to explore East Lothian's golf courses, beaches, restaurants, pubs and historic sites.

    'Fairview' is a light and airy third floor flat, boasting high ceilings, original Victorian features and wonderful sea views. The apartment is situated on North Berwick High Street, so all amenities are on your doorstep. You can be on the beach and the golf course within a couple of minutes. The train station is a 5 minute walk and the regular train service takes you into the centre of Edinburgh in 33 minutes.
    'Fairview' is a spacious, third floor flat. It offers a large kitchen diner, a large living area, two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), a shower room and separate toilet. There is also a well maintained and enclosed communal garden at the rear of the property. The kitchen is well equipped if you choose to cook. There is an oven, built in microwave, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle and toaster. We have also supplied a Nespresso coffee machine and DAB radio. The spacious lounge has a working wood burning stove, together with a wall mounted smart TV (high definition) with SKY (including sports package). The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for your belongings. Beautiful sea views and if you open the window, you can drift off to the relaxing sound of the sea. Second bedroom has two comfortable single beds, and again plenty of storage for your belongings. The shower room has a walk-in shower with heated towel rail. The toilet is separate from the shower room for your convenience. Given the flat is on the third floor, there are many steps to climb but the resulting sea views make it all worth it! However the access is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
    North Berwick is a beautiful coastal town, located just 25 miles from central Edinburgh. There are numerous fabulous beaches and magnificent golf courses in and around the town. NB offers many things to do and boasts a pretty High Street with independent shops and a great selection of cafes and restaurants.

    The Bothy is a recently refurbished traditional farm cottage with a red pantile roof that dates back to the early 1800s. It sits within the grounds of our family home and is only a stone’s throw from Drem train station, which provides regular services to North Berwick and Edinburgh. Retaining some of its original features, The Bothy is an ideal retreat for couples, families and golfers alike.
    The Bothy has its own private entrance leading into an open plan living room with kitchenette and a log burner stove. There is a wall-mounted smart TV with Netflix, YouTube and BBC iPlayer. Should you wish to cook, the kitchen is equipped with a mini oven, 2 induction hobs, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. Tea and coffee plus basic condiments are all provided. Guests have access to an iron and hair dryer. The spacious bathroom is fully modernised but also maintains some of its rustic charm. It is located downstairs and contains a large walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Downstairs there is also a large wardrobe with a hanging rail and room to store cases. The upper floor has 2 carpeted, loft-style bedrooms with coombed ceilings that are cozy and bright. Bedroom 1 has a king-sized platform bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. Both have underbed storage and other drawers/storage compartments and high quality Egyptian cotton bedding. The carpets & bedding are hypoallergenic.
    Drem is a beautiful ‘hamlet’ within a conservation area, only a few miles from the Golf Coast and the nearby towns of Gullane & North Berwick. The Bothy is located next to the Village Green where you can relax or play outside and there are some lovely country walks in and around the area. There is free on-street parking around the Village Green.

    The accommodation offers a flexible layout and is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor is an entrance vestibule, welcoming hall, dining room, bright spacious lounge to the rear with two comfy Italian leather couches. There is free WIFI, TV, DVD player and a BOSE sound system ready for your use. The lounge also has patio doors leading directly onto a decked patio and garden with open unspoilt views. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher and fridge and leads to a utility room with a Belfast sink, freezer and washing machine. The kitchen has patio doors giving access to the garden and also leads to a rear porch giving access to the garden and driveway area where there is a car port, handy in the colder months to protect your car from frost and ice. On the first floor there are two generously sized double bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized zip and link bed which can be made up as either a king-sized bed or two singles. The second bedroom also has a king size bed. The bathroom is situated on the half landing which has a modern suite with a shower over a bath. Towels and linen are provided. Outside, our enclosed south facing garden gets the sun all day, offering a real suntrap and a peaceful place to relax, unwind and switch off. There is a decked and paved patio area with plenty seating and a picnic table and a large lawn area which offers a lovely open outlook with unspoilt views. We also have a spacious garden to the front where there is an area of lawn and various fruit trees and can be enclosed by the iron gates. The cottage is available in its entirety. It is a cosy holiday cottage, used and loved by us and our family which we would like to share when we're not able to be there ourselves.
    Our dairy cottage is located in the quiet area of Fenton Barns, East Lothian. It is situated next to Direlton, Gullane and Drem and lies just outside North Berwick offering you the best of both worlds: countryside and a few minutes drive to the popular thriving town of North Berwick voted as one of the best places to live in Scotland.     Our cool converted annexe has bifold doors, a fold up double bed, dining space and stylish compact kitchen. There is mezzanine storage and a fully tiled wet room. Located within walking distance of local amenities, sandy beaches and renowned golf courses.
    The entire apartment is comprised of a main space (with kitchenette, king size double bed, folding guest bed for occasional use, TV, table and chairs) and a wet room with rain shower and under floor heating. The bed is king sized and very comfortable, handily it can also be folded up and out of the way to create more space if desired. The table and chairs can be moved outside onto the decking to enjoy a nice breakfast al-fresco or to perhaps read a book with a glass of local beer or German wine from the award winning Falko café and bakery on the high street.
    The space is in a wonderful central location within the village, a short walk to the high street where there is a selection of restaurants, bars, cafes, delis and shops. Gullane golf club with its three courses could be reached with a driver if you are accurate and could clear the houses! Otherwise it is a short walk round Hall Crescent. The local Tennis club is next door and rackets and balls may be hired from Gannon Sports on the high street. Gullane Gym is just round the corner too if you are feeling particularly energetic! Then there is the beach, Gullane Bents, which can be reached on foot in about 10 mins. A popular spot for wind or kite surfers and great for sand castles too.

    Our comfortable seaside home is in the heart of downtown North Berwick, a delightful town with lots to do only 30 minutes by train from Edinburgh. We provide a self service continental breakfast, with tea/coffee and fresh fruit. Towels, hairdryer, wifi and local information is also provided.
    A charming and quiet en suite double room with a beautiful view to North Berwick Law. We provide a continental breakfast for short stays. There is a fridge available for guests to use.
    North Berwick is a beautiful seaside town with an excellent range of activities including two stunning beaches within minutes walk of our home. There are two first class golf courses in the town as well as world class courses in the surrounding areas. The Scottish Sea Bird centre is a five minute walk away. Other additional local activities include: Putting greens. Tennis courts. Local swimming baths and fully equipped sport centre with gym and there is also a new studio offering drop in Yoga/ Pilates amongst other activities. The High Street is charming and offers an interesting blend of artisan and independent shops, cafes, coffee shops and restaurants. There are a wide range of eateries to suit every taste and budget. If the weather permits a picnic on the beach there is a supermarket very closeby open until 10pm.

  • Eu recomendo a casa de Amanda e Uzi para quem quer ficar na área! O quarto é adorável e espaçoso e a cama é muito confortável e aconchegante. Há uma casa de banho privativa com um chuveiro muito bom. Há uma linda mesinha e duas cadeiras na sala para você tomar o café da manhã, e elas oferecem um ótimo café da manhã para você se servir. É bem no centro da cidade também tão grande acesso a qualquer lugar localmente.

  • Amanda e Uzi são dois anfitriões maravilhosos que percorreram facilmente essa “milha extra”, ajudando-nos durante a nossa estadia. Acolhedor, discreto e sorridente. Não podíamos pedir um lugar melhor posicionado na cidade. Casa super limpa e brilhante, com muitos livros interessantes, discos e algumas fotos de Robert Redford aqui e ali (eheh).     Seaview Studio is a stylish, distinctive and unique apartment. It is light and airy with beautiful views over the sea. It sits in the garden of our family home but is totally detached from our house and has its own private patio and garden.
    The apartment comprises of main living space with full sized double bed, a separate fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine and spacious bathroom with large shower. Guests are welcome help themselves to fresh eggs for breakfast from the chicken enclosure in the family garden.
    The studio is situated in a quite residential area. There is a footpath which gives direct access to Gullane beach outside the apartment.

  • Eu precisava de um espaço tranquilo para um retiro de escritor e isso se encaixava perfeitamente. Foi impecável e tinha toques de estilo do hotel, lindas toalhas e roupa de cama e cama confortável. A quitinete tinha tudo o que eu precisava, ea área de lounge foi organizado muito bem. O estúdio oferecia um equilíbrio muito agradável de privacidade (fica em cima da garagem) e a proximidade de Trish e da casa principal, caso houvesse alguma dúvida. Trish foi um ótimo e super responsivo host. E Gullane foi um deleite! A praia estava a poucos passos de distância, e a vila é adorável. Espero voltar em breve!

O lugar em si é bonito - impecavelmente e com bom gosto acabado de um nível muito elevado, e simplesmente espumante limpo! Muito espaço ainda ainda super aconchegante, e com vista para o mar - simplesmente incrível :) A marmelada caseira, ovos e leite à esquerda foi a cereja no topo!
