Good home, with great views!

This was our second time staying here and our family had the best time! The lake views were absolutely beautiful—we loved waking up to the peaceful water every morning. The kids had a blast paddle boarding, while we were fishing and able to catch a few! The weather was perfect. We got to enjoy the fireplace and made s’mores in the evening. It felt like the perfect mix of outdoor activities and relaxation. The home is always clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. It was such a fun, memorable trip for our whole family. We’re looking forward to coming back for our next family getaway.

Uma and Balu’s home was perfect. There was plenty of space for our group and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We brought kayaks, in addition to one Uma and Balu let us use, and kayaked the lake each morning. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed this lake home! It accomodated 6 very nicely with the 3BR and 2 BA. We spent a lot of our weekend outside outside and loved the view and backyard access to lake and fishing dock. We enjoyed kayaking and playing outdoor/indoor games. The house looked newly renovated and has comfortable beds, couch and patio furniture. The owners provided complimentary espresso, tea and some snacks. Great location, only 5 min drive to Brookshires, Hunt County Trade Center weekend flea market, and Thai 'n Sushi restaurant, where we had very good food and friendly service. We would be happy to come back here for another vacation!!

I stayed at Bret's place as a way to relax. I got exactly that. This place is beautiful and in a great neighborhood. Everything worked (TVs etc..). I did not have to search for anything or try to figure anything out. Bret reached out before, during and after my stay. I would highly recommend this home and will definitely reserve again.

Love staying here! Always thankful for the nice yard for our dogs. Hosts were so kind and left us treats for the dogs. We will be back!

Single car covered parking and 2-3 external parking space. Good central Air-conditioning. Great access to many restaurants, markets, activities

The space looked exactly like the photos! super cozy, impeccably clean (seriously, top-tier cleanliness), and had such a calm, serene energy that made it easy to unwind. Sarah was an absolute gem; friendly, responsive, and so easy to communicate with. And that view? The perfect cherry on top. I’d definitely stay here again without hesitation!

I recently booked John’s airbnb for my family visiting from Missouri, and I’m thrilled to share that they had an absolutely wonderful experience. The property was everything I hoped for and more—providing the perfect setting for a relaxing family getaway. From the moment they arrived, they felt welcomed and at ease. The home was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, offering all the amenities they needed for a stress-free stay. One of the highlights was the backyard, which turned out to be an absolute hit—especially with the toddler! They spent hours playing and exploring the outdoor space, making it a true haven for the little one. The location was also ideal, allowing my family to easily explore the local area while having a peaceful retreat to return to at the end of the day. The host was attentive and made sure everything was in order, which added to the overall positive experience.

John's place has a beautiful view of the lake with nice porches to hang out. The house is decorated with unique items that are interesting to look at. I was able to relax and unwind. He is a very responsive host and I look forward to returning.

We were visiting friends in the area and we're bringing our dog along. This location allowed pets. The place was super clean and located in a quiet neighborhood with Target less than a mile down the road. Bret and his team responded quickly. The only tricky issue was the alarm and electronic lock but that all stemmed from user error. I will easily booking this place again if we come back to the area. Cheers.

As described the house was private and peaceful with plenty to do without leaving and spending a ton of money! I could see myself vacationing often with my whole family, because although there were only two of us it had plenty of space to share in future bookings. I vlogged the whole experience and got several requests to send the link so friends and family could book in the future. Hosts made it easy to feel comfortable and stress free! 10/10 experience for sure.

The house and backyard are everything you see via the pictures on Airbnb. What you don't see or know his how everything you need is there. Just bring a suitcase. Grocery store and liquor store in less than a mile away. You most likely will pass them on the way to the house. The back yard is private, it was not hot enough to enjoy the pool but it was clean and looked great. The view of the lake is relaxing. The host did an amazing job with communication. I will be back again when the summer is finally here so we can enjoy that pool.

We stayed here for our Wedding weekend! It was the perfect private space away from family for us to retreat amidst our wedding activities. We loved having tea on the back porch and looking over the lake and just having space to relax and be together that was clean and comfortable.

We really appreciate how James and everyone accommodated our group. We all had a great weekend that would not have happened without James and the staff.
