Nestled in a line of similar cottages on a private road, our cottage has a waterfront fenced yard for your pet(s). Launch your own watercraft at a local marina and enjoy exploring the Trent Canal System. Love to hike? Take a short 15 min drive North or East and explore the Petroglyphs or Warsaw Caves Provincial Parks.

Nature enthusiasts welcome. We offer a large campsite complete with dock on a private nature reserve. Stay in a converted/restored century tourist cabin/hunt camp on the edge of Provincially Significant Wetlands & Woodlands and overlook 5 pristine acres of wetlands off the Pigeon River in the heart of the Kawarthas. All this is set on a 55 acre organic farm. We have a 10 kw solar panel, native plant nursery as well as heritage breed cattle, turkeys and chickens.

The Little Hilltop Bunkie

Stay off-grid in an Amish built bunkie on top of a hill with the best south facing view in the area! Disconnect from your busy life and enjoy the country side. There is no wifi but cellular reception is good depending on your provider. There is an outhouse with compost toilet near the bunkie. There is no shower or sink. Enjoy the country and let nature do that talking! Pets are very welcome! Enjoy the trails and walk your dog(s) off leash.

Small Space - Big Memories

This cozy cottage, one of just three on our peaceful 7 acre property, offers 380 sq ft of charm and 300 sq ft of deck that steps down to a professionally designed fire pit. Firewood is provided so you can relax by a crackling fire under the stars. Enjoy your own spacious, private area designed for comfort and seclusion. Guests are also welcome to explore and enjoy the shared spaces across the rest of the scenic 7 acres.

The Nest on Irondale River in Geocaching Capital

The Nest is a one room cabin with a screened in porch. There is a queen bed with sheets, queen pillows and comforter. Relax by the river or take out a kayak and paddle upstream to the rapids. After a BBQ dinner, enjoy smores at the large campfire pit. Meander the trails throughout the property and just be. Everything is here for a simple but soul restoring getaway. There is no shower and the toilet is in an outhouse.

The Birchview Tiny Off-Grid Cabin

Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or someone looking for a getaway, this is the place for you. Completed in the fall of 2020 this brand new tiny off grid cabin is well equipped. It sits on 95 acres of private property and is located 5 min from Stoney lake. A wood stove and propane heater inside to keep things toasty. A queen bed in the loft to curl up in.
