Woodstock, Kingston, the Hudson River and hiking trails 15 min away.

In cooler months, go leaf peeping, skiing, snowshoeing, shopping/antiquing, then return home and cozy-up by the fireplace. Located less than 2 hours from NYC and just 15 min Exit 20 of the NYS Thruway.

The treehouse resides on the locally famous Fernwood property. Our family ran a restaurant here since the 1970's. We no longer operate the restaurant, but the property is gorgeous. The treehouse is at the end of a road with a private swimming hole. Right out of the treehouse is the entrance to the famous long trail, plenty of hiking here. Also in town is the entrance to The Catskill Wild Forest. Hiking into Kaaterskill Falls is one of the main attractions here in town.
