The Garden Cottage

This is a charming flint cottage in a gorgeous rural setting. This period detached property offers relaxed, comfortable accommodation with unique character. Perfect for weekend getways or working trips. The property is situated with the grounds of a larger house backing onto meadows with sheep grazing and uninterrupted views of Suffolk countryside. The main living area is open plan with a lovely modern kitchen with table and chairs for eating at. A large leather sofa for relaxing and unwinding looking out onto your own private courtyard. In the bedroom a sumptuous king size bed to snuggle into at night and a delightfully quirky en-suite bathroom await you. In the morning enjoy a breakfast of delicious eggs laid by my chickens as I will leave breakfast essentials for you.

The location is perfect for Newmarket and The Races or the beautiful old town of Bury St Edmunds and 40 minutes by car from Cambridge, whilst being in Suffolks highest village, Ousden.

My place is close to Newmarket races , town centre , horse racing gallops , Cambridge . My place is good for solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). This is a great Private room with wet room , twin beds and a camp bed for a third guest . plus kitchen area with the essentials kettle , toaster , microwave , fridge , it also has a single electric hob . It is a quiet location and separate from the main house , there is a back gate entrance ,use car park in scaltback drive.

Converted rustic barn adjacent to main house. Access over gravel driveway. Private building with shared garden. Light and airy with French windows and roof lights. Exposed original beams. 2 rooms plus ensuite shower/loo. Please specify super kingsize OR twin beds when booking. Situated in a quiet village with easy access to Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Cambridge, Norwich and coast. Friendly hosts, chickens, dog and cats on property and fresh eggs supplied. Swallow barn is a writer’s paradise!

The Cabin

Our cabin is a very cosy place to stay with en-suite facilities, double bed, satelite TV, microwave and tea and coffee. Situated in the grounds of Manor Cottage, which is one of the few original remaining buildings of the Manor built in the late 16th century. There is a downhill gravel driveway and onsite parking, Center of Mildenhall town, surrounded by bars, restaurants and nature walks. Some breakfast items included. This cabin is idealy suited for one person, but also equiped for two.

Gorgeous studio barn with high ceilings located in a quiet location with your own private access to a peaceful sunny dog-fenced orchard for your use. I am a superhost. Sitting room area with little Everhot stove, a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a huge shower and a mezzanine bedroom with a handmade bed with beautiful linen and a down duvet. Close to Clare, Bury, Newmarket and Long Melford with walks on the doorstep. Please note I live on the property too so you will see me and my dogs.
