Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique and cozy. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!

A 10 min walk through the woods is required to get from the parking lot to the cabin.

Glamping is a form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping. Communal washrooms and a shower are located in a separate building; there is also an area for washing dishes. The facility is off the power grid, so solar power is used for lightning. The Star Dome provides a unique experience with propane fireplace, and a clear roof for star gazing. The outdoor viewing deck includes a kitchen with all utensils/ hot sink, hot shower, toilet and BBQ. Round out your relaxation with our Finnish wood-stove sauna and cold tub at $50 per hour.

Surrounded by 4000 square feet of deck and equipped with a large heated pool and a hot tub and a private panoramic dome sauna, this peaceful secluded retreat is the perfect base to explore the best beaches in Nova Scotia or simply get away from it all.Please note that the heated pool is only operational from mid October l -to mid November. (weather dependent) sauna, hot tub and dome are open all year.
