My home is a large (700 square feet) one bed apartment in the centre of fashionable Notting Hill. It is in a perfect location, sitting between the famous Portobello Road Market and chic Westbourne Grove - full of designer shops and restaurants. The apartment has a modern kitchen and bathroom, while the sitting room retains original features such as a beautiful fireplace (decorative not functional). The building itself is a stunning, historical property which is stucco fronted and was built in 1860. By foot, you can reach many of London's attractions, including Kensington Palace (former home of Princess Diana and subsequently Prince William and Kate) and Hyde Park. Transport links are also great (the tube is 7 minutes walk away and there is a bus stop 2 minute walk away). Studio in Notting Hill

A few meters away from Portobello Market on the first floor is home people love to be in, return to, and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Neighbors say the singer Bob Marley used to live in this studio in the seventies and that's where he left from every morning to the recording studio just across the road. Quite a small studio (~40 square meters), yet, three-meter-high windows turn to the colorful houses of the street. In the studio there is a comfortable double bed. Fully equipped kitchen - electric stove, refrigerator, microwave and toaster. Also, the studio has a TV, Wi-Fi, and a washing machine and a dryer. In the evening you can sit by the fireplace, looking at the glowing coals, gaze through the curtains and hope Julia Roberts come out with Hugh Grant from the bookstore nearby. ...

Our garden flat is perfect for a family or a mature group of friends. It can sleep up to four guests (and we've a camp bed that's fine for a child). For larger parties you also can rent the flat upstairs that sleeps another four guests. The flat is in trendy Kensal Rise where there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops close by. It's a short walk to the overground, a ten to fifteen minute walk to Queens Park tube and there are lots of buses running into the centre from the end of the street.

Excellent transport links, the closest Underground is Putney Bridge just over the road. Fulham & Putney are fantastic areas to explore and get to know what living in London is all about.
