Me and my group of 4 stayed in Jenson Cottage & we absolutely loved every second! We decided to go here for a late birthday weekend away & York town was about a twenty minute taxi away where we spent Friday evening. The host’s were amazing - we had a minor problem with working the barbecue on our second day as it was our first time and the host came to help us straight away, we also got lost as it’s no where near our local area and the host was able to direct us straight to the location. we have made incredible memories and this lodge is fantastic value and somewhere that we will definitely be coming back.

We have just had a fantastic stay at The Lamp Post. We were absolutely blown away by the accommodation. Steve and Andrea have thought of absolutely everything. The whole place is luxury and pristine. The hot tub is so easy to use and definitely an extra added bonus to what is a beautiful place to stay. Thank you so much - we will definitely be returning!

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

I loved The Loft, it was just perfect. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want or need, lots of lovely little touches made it really special. The view from the decking and the hot tub was spectacular and we spent many mornings and evenings just enjoying the peace and the surrounding views. I would definitely book again.

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful weekend at the cottage. It is absolutely perfect and we had a lovely homely stay. Very responsive to messages and very helpful in regards to parking. Had everything we needed and couldn't have asked for more. We can't wait to come back one day. Thankyou Sally & Nick

Absolutely stunning cottage and great pool and jacuzzi! A stunning peaceful location with great local pub and amazing walks and things to do (but you may need to travel a bit like we did to see the fantastic surrounding area) Highly recommended to others and we will be returning. This is a lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. John was very accommodating regarding our late arrival and the cottage was easy to find and exactly as described. The cottage is very characterful and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The garden is beautiful and very private. Thank you John, we’ve had a wonderful stay.

Absolutely perfect little get away in a lovely area. My girlfriend really liked it and wants to go again. Very cosy and private place with a little garden for the dogs. Beautiful surroundings will 100% be booking again. Very responsive host even though we got there late. Thanks again

Deb and Tim were great hosts who gave us and our dog a warm welcome. The cosy cottage was as described with a luxurious bedroom suite and downstairs plenty of room for the dog crate. Delightful walks in all directions to local pubs. Lovely countryside to explore: the Ribble Valley, Pendle Hill and the Forest of Bowland. Recommended!

We booked The Nest last minute and Anette was extremely attentive from the start to finish of our stay. The house was exactly as described & was immaculate. Bed was so comfortable & lots of attention to detail! Great location for exploring the local area. Pub right across the road with good pub grub , Co Op literally paces away& a fabulous foodie pub The Eskdale is a 10 min walk away. Thank you Annette we loved our stay as did our dog !

Spotless residence, as described, quiet and relaxing, away from bustle of York but a short drive to all excursions. Clean, plenty of cutlery, cleaning products and hand washes. Lovely surprise to be welcomed by fresh scones, with clotted cream and jam.

What can I say... Absolutely fantastic place. You couldn't ask for anything more. Really peaceful location with fantastic views of the hills etc. We had a strange issue but this was sorted out very swiftly by Malcolm 👍 We will definitely be looking to book again and have another peaceful time just watching the world go by. Lovely weekend at Button Cottage. Cottage is in a fantastic location for local walks and easy access to nearby towns. Cottage was clean and cozy and had everything we needed, even our dog was catered for with food and water bowls, towel and treats, the human welcome goodies were very much appreciated as well. The cottage was well equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. All in all a great little place to stay, would definitely recommend.

We had a really lovely stay at Curlew Cottage for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area as we are into our walks. The house itself was beautifully presented, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was very peaceful with beautiful views all around. We spotted lots of wildlife which was lovely. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

Emma’s countryside home in Menethorpe, Marlon is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is truly picturesque, with a peaceful stream nearby and horses, sheep, and cows grazing in the surrounding fields. It’s the perfect base to explore the area — York is just a short drive away, and the lovely village of Malton is only 5 minutes down the road, offering great restaurants, shops, and pubs. The house itself is cozy, super safe, and very well furnished, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable family vacation. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Emma was a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re visiting this part of the country, this is a must-stay. Thank you, Emma — we’re already looking forward to returning!

What a find! Amazing place to stay. Not only is it a 5 star accommodation, it's a perfect place to explore the local area and has the best back garden I've ever experienced i.e. "The Himalayan Gardens & Sculptures". The accommodation itself was warm, cosy and spotlessly clean, plenty of space for two adults and two springer spaniels. We valued the entrance with it's stone floor to rub down our wet pups when arriving back after our adventures. With plenty of logs for the burner it added to the feeling of home from home. Everything supplied in the cottage is top class quality. The outside area included an enclosed patio which many need if they have dogs with them. We were there when the gardens were closed so it was quiet and such a treat to be able to walk around not sharing it with anyone else. We will be back and have already recommended the cottage to our friends and family. Thank you Will and Sophie

Anna always replied to any questions very fast. The cottage had all the amenities required. The cottage was nestled in the town centre, but you would not know it as it was so quiet. Loved it, if I was in the area again I would not hesitate in trying to book this again.

We had a wonderful stay at Haven cottage. It was our first holiday with our baby and the cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and easy, with a travel cot, baby bath and even a baby carrier provided by Anna. The cottage was lovely and the location was perfect being a short walk to a pub, cafe and lots of country walks. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again!

Wow. What an absolutely STUNNING property. We took our two children (7 and 3 years old) and my goodness it didn’t disappoint. There was a full bookshelf full of films, toys, books, games, a full toy chest, outdoor activities, basically everything you could ever want. We have never felt so relaxed on a break with the kids! 😅 Claire was amazing and greeted us, she gave us recommendations on where to go and was on hand for anything. We will 10000% be back, thank you so much for a beautiful experience, you are incredibly lucky to live in such a gorgeous area 🩷

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

Paula’s Couples Cottage was a fantastic place to get away for a couple of days. Beautiful views from the hot tub and deck area!
