The home was beautiful and clean. It was a short drive to town for supplies and to the lake for some fresh air. Our family loved the space to spread out for sleeping. Beds and bedding were so comfortable and the wooded setting was dark and peaceful, all of which made for restful sleep. The kids loved the game space in the basement- playing ping pong, air hockey, and on the PSII. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for making family meals and the large dining table allowed for the 10 of us to eat together. All of this, plus we were able to enjoy all of this with our 2 dogs. Ellen was responsive to a couple of questions and needs, as well as understanding when an item was accidentally broken. The only concern was some additional rules that were not on the original listing, but were messaged a few weeks before our reservation.

I went for a weekend getaway, and this place did not disappoint. It's a beautiful, private spot—nice and cozy, with stunning views all around. The host provided clear directions before arrival, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The house rules were straightforward and reasonable, and communication from the host was outstanding—thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely caring. It was clear that a lot of time and attention went into every detail of the space, which made our stay even more special. We had a wonderful time, and I’ll definitely be recommending this place to others. Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful, clean cabin with all listed amenities. Spacious with plenty of sleeping and bathroom space. Fully stocked efficient kitchen. Hottub works and is very roomy. Peaceful woodland scenery. Neighbors seemed visually curious about us.

What a pleasurable stay for our extended family. The house was meticulous and beautiful. This was not a cheap flip. This home was done with care for detail. The view was absolutely magnificent, and what a treat to see elk and deer come to the pasture for the children to see. Everyone in our family said how much they loved the stay. It was well worth the 2 1/2 hr drive!

Great place! The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything you would need! Keith was very responsive and answered any questions I had during my stay.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Haven at 6-mile Run! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and thoughtfully prepared. The self-check-in with the smart lock was incredibly easy, and the directions were spot-on—even with the slight GPS quirk, the signage made it clear where to go. The home itself is cozy, clean, and so inviting. The attention to detail—from fresh linens and towels to the stocked coffee—made us feel right at home. The covered deck was the perfect spot to relax, and the hot tub in the gazebo was a dream! We made great use of the outdoor fireplace and firepit, which added a magical touch to our evenings. The peaceful setting with the pond and visiting wildlife made it feel like a private nature retreat. We loved watching deer and geese in the early morning. Everything we needed was either provided or just a short drive away, and Joshua was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. A perfect spot to unwind, recharge!

Really liked the place. The upstairs bedroom is a bit of a challenge to not hit your head however. All was good. I may have lost some ear buds there.
