The ELM House is a unique modern Barn dominion sitting on scenic 200 acres of cattle working farm. You'll enjoy a peaceful stay viewing the beautiful countryside from your room or hike on the farm. Breakfast is available if desired. A spacious interior with antique poplar rafters, doors, and a beautiful 1880 staircase create a rustic, high-quality experience. A historic horse barn and a tobacco barn are to be explored. Horses can be greeted at the barn. The host's Artisan woodwork is available.

Our Giant Sunflower room is the largest room located on the 2nd floor. It overlooks the original formal entry of the home. A grand sugar maple over 150 years old greets you as you look to the north. This bright room offers a comfy couch, a reading chair and a king-sized bed with luxurious organic cotton sheets. The private hall bathroom with a large tub and shower just outside your room. Cotton robes and slippers await as well as a delicious continental breakfast when you decide to rise & shine.

Only 15 min. drive to Elizabethtown, or to the Ford plant in Glendale. Also 50 min. to Mammoth Cave National Park. And 25 min. to Bardstown, bourbon city. In the area is Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Park, his Boyhood at Knob Creek, Lincoln Museum. Walking distance to downtown for food, shopping, entertainment, park.
