First this was the most amazing place absolutely just as described Host was the best very responsive and understanding ( he knows 😂) I would book this place 1000 times over The windows by the bed are amazing The shower is impressive You can tell there was a lot of hard personal work done into this place His YouTube video was very informative I actually watched it couple times to find out how to work certain remotes And the BED… will just leave it there… must book to find out for yourself 🥰🥰

Great hideaway from the city! Can’t wait to go back and stay there again! The hot tub was a definite bonus!!

The expanse of the property with the trail to the creak was definitely a fan favorite. The dog loved to take his daily walk up and down to the water. We’ll definitely be staying here in the future when we visit family.

The place is excellent, featuring a well-equipped kitchen perfect for a short-term stay. Remember to keep the heater on. While the bathroom is compact, it's manageable. Be sure to have extra quarters for laundry. Parking is readily available, and there's a trail within walking distance, ideal for jogging. Note that there are no restaurants nearby, so having a car is essential, although a bus station is also nearby for trips downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

Laurie and Van are very nice people and the place is great. We enjoyed the peacefulness as this place is just out of the busy city and the hosts allowing access to the lake and thier dock through their space is a very nice gesture. highly recommend and we will return.

We have stayed at the Cottage several times. It is one our favorite places to stay. Very clean and host are very pleasant. It is a relaxing residential neighbor hood and feels like home when you there.

One of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever stayed in. Miranda was super awesome and accommodating to our requests. We would definitely book again. My boyfriend and I are runners and this was a beautiful neighborhood to go running in. We are also not big city people - so this was a perfect spot away from all that nonsense but not too far from great restaurants and little shops/grocery stores.

Very thoughtfully designed, equipped, and provisioned. In a very quiet neighborhood a leisurly walk from Sandy and Broadway. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating. And zero pointless kitsch! Bonus points for having a compost bucket and instructions as well as professionally sharpened knives.

Jodi’s place is spacious and airy with all the amenities and located in a quiet neighborhood walkable to many services including good restaurants, markets, and coffee shops. Her notebook guide to the area is very helpful. The cottage was perfect for my extended stay.

We loved everything about Hummingbird Cottage. It is well appointed, with beautiful linens and thoughtful touches. We are a family of five and travel each year to visit relatives in Lake Oswego and West Linn. The location is great for our purposes, and we found that the restaurants and shopping nearby was superb. We hope to make Hummingbird Cottage the place we will stay going forward, and have recommended it to our family for other out-of-town guests.

This cottage was charming, private, and well appointed. The description was accurate with the one exception being that the kitchen was renovated and is even better than stated (definitely not a bad thing - and the host was upfront about it!). If you’re looking for a cozy cottage that’s easy to get to and will give you a nice quiet place to rest - look no further!

Really good experience! Cute as heck, clean and warm and cozy. Instructions were super helpful: DO follow the hosts’ helpful specific directions about how to get to the house, because they’re right Google will not get you there. The extra maneuvers were worth it because the house feels like it’s in the middle of a forest.
