Smithson was very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was very clean and felt like home and relaxing. I highly recommend the cottage for a wonderful visit in Asheville NC. We will definitely be back!!!

Review Title: Perfect Lakefront Stay for a Multigenerational Family Our family, spanning three generations, stayed at this beautiful lakehouse over New Year’s, and it was truly the perfect getaway. From retired grandparents to working professionals, two small children, and even our dog, the house had something for everyone. The lakefront views were stunning, providing a peaceful backdrop for morning coffee and evening conversations. The house was thoughtfully equipped with modern conveniences, making it both comfortable and functional. It truly felt like a home away from home, with cozy spaces to gather, a well-appointed kitchen, and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The owners clearly take pride in the property, and the attention to detail was evident. Whether it was enjoying family meals together, taking in the serenity of the lake, or simply spending quality time, this house offered everything we could ask for. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain house in Rutherfordton! The views were stunning, the rooms were cozy and well-designed, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, making everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Christy’s place was very comfortable, quiet, clean, easy to get to. There was a nice coffee bar and snacks, which is all we needed because we didn’t cook. But the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The beds were very comfortable and the furniture in living room as well. A nice desk for working and a real nice little front porch to sit outside on. Back yard was fenced in and grass cut. Was perfect for dogs, had I brought mine as planned. I would stay again for sure!

Lovely home in the Village of Cheshire! Jake is a wonderful host and the house is even better than the pictures. Beautiful neighborhood with walking trails and playground for kids. Enjoyed being able to bring our dog along and the convenience of the fenced backyard. Hope to return one day :)

Good location for walking into town or driving to nearby places/towns. Clean house which matched the pictures and description. The beds were comfortable and had soft sheets. Kitchen and laundry were stocked with everything you need. Good open floor plan for entertaining. Julie was responsive, professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house.

This was a very quality stay. Easy to find the designated parking space even in the dark. Nice path to the tiny home. Easy to check in. The tiny home is quite nice with quality fixtures and appliances. The shower is excellent with good water pressure. Very thoughtful set up with everything you need. I would stay again. Has a nice little back porch with a little back yard area.

Excellent place to stay. It is close to a lot of hiking trails and downtowns to spend the day at. Had all the amenities to feel at home there.

A wonderful home stocked with all the essentials to make a pleasant stay! Amanda is a great communicator and fabulous host. Pool, hot tub, and ping pong table are amenities packed in an efficient and spacious home. I was thrilled with the kitchen setup, and my family loved having two separate living room spaces. The porch is very nice, and overlooks both the pool and hot tub. Linens are clean. Decorations are minimal and homey. Plenty of space for a family or group to come together. Neighborhood is great and less than 5 minutes to Tanger Outlets, restaurants, grocery and Blue Ridge Parkway. Everything else is an easy 15-20 minutes away, from Biltmore to Downtown Asheville, everything feels like it is at your fingertips. What a great stay, we look forward to coming back when the pool is open!

10/10 recommend staying here. Suzanne was incredibly accommodating. Her place is beautiful, private and peaceful. We also tried her restaurant which was some of the best food I’ve ever had!!! Suzanne was super helpful, kind and constantly went above and beyond for us during our stay. If you’re thinking about booking with her, just do it! You won’t regret it.

Our stay at Josh’s place was fantastic! We arrived at 4am, and he made sure the lights were on and apartment was easily accessible for us. The apartment was clean, with a mini fridge and microwave. He was very responsive to any and all concerns. Josh was very accommodating and provided great local tips. We can’t wait to come back!

Staying with Cheryl was absolutely perfect and I recommend it to everyone, but I would especially recommend it to anyone with a daughter or young woman staying alone who wanted a competent, compassionate woman nearby in case of emergency. Her proximity to the equestrian centers and her ability to be present without being overbearing was perfect and I would not hesitate to let a young woman stay here on her own.

This cabin is just as described in the listing. The hot tub was such an added bonus to a mountain getaway! Connie was so responsive and has thought of everything to clearly communicate and be proactive for any questions you may have. This cabin is right between Boone and West Jefferson so lots of options or just hanging out at the house! The only advice I would give next guests would be to pick up paper products to minimize doing too many dishes because there is no dishwasher. Overall fantastic little getaway and I would book again! Thanks Connie for always being available for any questions.

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that allowed me to truly unwind. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the rustic decor, which added a warm and authentic feel to the space. Being close to hiking trails and nature spots was a bonus, as it allowed for easy exploration and outdoor activities. Overall, a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the peace of the mountains. We LOVED our stay at Elizabeth’s! We were two humans plus a dog and found the unit to be very comfortable. There were so many incredibly thoughtful touches that made our stay so lovely. It really did feel like a little home away from home — which was perfect for our little WFA (work from Asheville) adventure. The house is well stocked with everything a traveler could need. And the yard is perfect and secure for any furry travelers. The location is convenient to Asheville and in super close proximity to some great hiking in the Bent Creek forest and around the NC Arboretum. We will absolutely be looking to stay here in the future! This spot is such a gem!

Our stay at Julia's was just what we needed. Great host, very caring and responsive about some unexpected needs while we were there. Close to outlets, blue ridge mt entrance and arbotertum. Loved the ingles grocery nearby. Would absolutely stay again, thanks Julia!

My friends and I rented Rob's place for a week-long reunion after years of not seeing each other in person. The house is large enough to afford everyone space and cozy enough to enhance gathering in the 2 living rooms. We especially enjoyed the private deck. Driving into the city districts was quick (10-15 minutes) and easy. I'd definitely recommend Rob's house for a visit to Asheville, especially if one wants to bring along a canine companion- large fenced yard!

Jennifer was awesome and very responsive on our text, and was just all around awesome. She even went out of her way to explain other things to us.

We had a great stay at Carly's place. We enjoyed the proximity to hikes in the Pisgah particularly along the Davison River area. Living room seating was good and there were nice views across the valley. We had a Whip-poor-will serenade us several nights. Sound does carry up the valley so when on the porch road noise was noticeable. The bed (we used the Master bedroom) was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and even a sharp knife! If you plan on cooking some of your own meals, wait to go grocery shopping until after you check in as Carly has thoughtfully provided an Ingles card so you can save some $$. We ate at The Square Root one night and the food was wonderful.

This place was so clean and beautiful especially in person. It was so quiet for me and my boyfriend and my dog loved it also.

Hands down would stay at their place again. It was quiet, away from busy yet close enough to everything. Exactly what we needed.
