Blin's place was spotless, comfortable and the view was stunning - Fall leaves were in full color while we were there. The bathrooms were spacious and clean - the water was hot with good pressure. The king bed in the master was supportive and comfortable. I heard no complaints about the bunk room beds the kids used. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. All appliances worked well. It was muddy while we were there so we rolled up the light colored rugs so we didn't accidentally stain them. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of area for him to run and the streets were quiet for a walk along the road. There are steps all the way to the water which will be amazing for lake access in the summer. As it was cold while we were there and the lake was still recovering from Hurrican Helene, we did not get in the water. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Levi was a great communicator - location couldn't be better. This property is closer to the lift line and tubing hill than a lot of the parking lots for the mountain. It takes about 2 minutes to get to tubing and 4 minutes to get to the lift, really really really convenient. Having 4 bed rooms with 4 bathrooms was great, place is clean, kitchen has everything you need. Highly recommend, I will be staying here again in the future.

A great location with almost immediate access to skiing and hiking trails! We didn’t use the amenities while there but did see many families enjoying them. A 15 minute ride to Boone and all that area offers was a plus. This was a quiet, corner location with a soothing view of a pond on the grounds out all of the windows. A good sized space to wind down after a full day of adventures!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway for my husband and I! Just within walking distance of App’s campus/King Street and lots of restaurants. Very cute and well decorated!

I had a lovely two week stay at Eliber's listing. Everything was exactly as described. It is very close to downtown Burnsville and easy access to the main road but also quiet enough that deer were in the yard. Eliber was very responsive and answered any questions I had quickly.

Thank you for a fantastic stay! Listing is detailed and reflects the space accurately. Despite the challenges WNC is still facing concerning hurricane recovery, Kelly went above and beyond to provide a comfortable, attentive and thoughtful stay. The space is well organized and laid out, free of clutter and provides all the comforts needed for a great stay. I visited during the off season so the outdoor spaces were not yet in bloom but I can only imagine how beautiful things are in bloom. Ample area and space to lounge and connect with nature, local recommendations and a perfect balance of privacy and accessibility to local fun. I highly recommend any guest check out the Hearth Glass and Gallery (sign up for a class if you can) and Maryland Earth to Sky Park - both are stunning places. Thanks again!

Wow, one of the best stays. Our group of 10 had the best experience. The location is close to town. Very clean in every room. They truly had everything you could need.

Overall, enjoyed our girls weekend at Casey's cabin. Location was only 20-30 minutes from everything we wanted to do in Asheville and the drive in is very easy. We saw a bear on the way in the second night and saw a ton of birds around the cabin. Furnishings were lovely, beds very comfy. Lovely waterfall within 10' of the backdoor, I sat in the outdoor tub every night listening to the waterfall. Please be aware that you'll also hear the dogs that live with the neighbors and they'll likely be barking most all night. Thankfully you can't hear them very well inside the cabin and I understand this is something that host can't control but the very close proximity to 4 different neighboring properties makes it somewhat hard to feel secluded or in the middle of the forest. Also, I typically started filling the tub after dinner and waited 75-90 minutes each night to fill the tub deep enough to soak in but I planned ahead and this did not bother me and the water was as hot as any hot tub.

We had a wonderful time at this house. It is perfect for a family who wants to get away and relax. The view was amazing and there are walking trails right down the hill. It was just perfect for our family holiday. We will return again!

Sean & Crissy’s place is an absolute gem!! The setting is incredibly tranquil and gorgeous, with the lovely sight and sound of the roaring creek right adjacent to the cabin. We spent most of our time outdoors, enjoying the peace and privacy and eating our meals at one of the many beautiful outdoor tables. The beds and linens are so very cozy and the bathrooms and kitchen squeaky clean. Sean & Crissy were absolutely lovely hosts and we will definitely be back, hopefully soon!!

Another great Winter stay at Got Rocks! We’ve stayed here many times before and we’ve always enjoyed the proximity to the things we enjoy nearby such as skiing, wineries, groceries, restaurants, etc. there is lots of space to spread out, and everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals whenever we wanted. Thanks again Wesley for letting us use your place!

My husband and I stayed for a month at the house and absolutely loved it. It was peaceful and beautiful with the music of a rushing streamf filling the house everyday when we opened up the French doors. It was refreshing to see that the house actually matched all of the photos and the amenities that were listed. It was great to have a grocery store and a restaurant within 15 minutes of the house. we loved it so much. we're going to come back again next year.

Had another enjoyable week at Ross’s Retreat. So much room to relax and enjoy the beautiful lake & Mountain View’s. The 2 kayaks always a plus. Hopefully will be back again next year. Thanks again.

We were very satisfied with our ‘Misty River’ stay! Outdoor setting was an idyllic location for slowing down and enjoying a front seat view of the waterway. Angela’s home is very clean, neat and tidy and well set up for a restful weekend retreat! We found ourselves very comfortable during our visit and look forward to another stay in the future.

Renee's place was a gorgeous haven in Johnson City during our time at the National Storytelling Festival--the home away from home, with a stunning lake, exactly what we needed. Everything was exactly as advertised, only a 20 minute winding drive from Jonesborough, but you never wanted to leave when you saw the sun meet the horizon and reflect across that glassy water. Thanks so much, Renee, we had such a wonderful time revisiting Appalachia.

We throughly enjoyed our stay! Loved how close the Ski lodge and lifts were. Loved having a bathroom in every room. The only thing that it needed was maybe a booklet of things to do and and instructions on place, some older ppl like a hard copy!!!

We loved Serenity. It was the perfect place for my son and I for 4 days of skiing. It is really close to the base of Sugar Mtn too. I’d recommend doing car drop off if you’re carrying skis and in boots. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. We had a blast!

Had a fantastic time and being with in walking distance of everything is very helpful especially during the high traffic times of the day.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the backyard area and zipline. The space was very clean and all the small details were well thought out and appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Loved this rustic creekside condo. It was beautiful inside and out. Everything you needed was there. The deck outside to relax and listen to the creek was so nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Shawn's place was an excellent base camp for our ski trip to Beech Mountain. Everything was just as described, and was super clean. We were able to walk to Beech in about 10 minutes with all of our gear so it's a great spot if you're looking to hit the slopes. Would definitely stay here again!
