Hungry Hippie Hostel Bunkhouse Loft

The Bunkhouse Loft / Private Room #6 is the private space (the entire upper level of the hostel), SLEEPS UP TO 6 GUESTS. It has a queen size bed in a semi-private room and two sets of bunk beds in the main room. There is a half bath and a kitchenette area with microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, sofa and chair. Showers are located on the lower level of the hostel along with the main kitchenette. Enjoy the amazing views of Lake Superior & the homestead!! Perfect for families + groups!!

Spalding House #24 - Unique 1900s Hotel Rooms

Unique 1900s Hotel Rooms reopened for overnight rooms. Located just off Main Street across from the Main Street Mall Plaza and only blocks from the Mountain Bike Trails. Cuyuna Brewing and the Iron Range Eatery are just across the street. Serpent Lake and Crosby Memorial Park are a quick walk down the street. All rooms are located above the Spalding Bar and that is also where you check in. Expect some noise from the bar below (we provide earplugs if you need them), especially on weekends.

Jasmin’s Place Rm #8 w/ a Queen bed

This is a private room for up to two people, in a Lodging House. The room has a Queen bed. There may be a couple of other guests staying in the other 2 rooms on this floor so we ask everyone to use common courtesy as there are some shared spaces. This large old brick and mortar building used to be a first National Bank. Now it’s a quaintly decorated lodging establishment, great for a weekend away or traveling for work. I have been hosting on Airbnb for a few years and this is my fave.

Bird2 - The Bird House, Private Room

If your looking for a good private space with comfortable beds this is your place. This is your interim worker or student housing station. There are 4 separate rooms, so family or other groups are welcome. Please understand that there is a minimum charge for a weekly rate, (firm) as we have to conduct extensive cleaning due to the current medical pandemic. We prioritize for the essential workers. The rooms are left unoccupied for 3 days between renters.

Room #5 in our Hostel features a comfy queen bed, in- floor heat, and a large window that faces the rear of the Hostel. This is the one (and ONLY) room that allows furry friends (there is a $20 pet fee due upon arrival). A hostel is a budget orientated, sociable accommodation that is shared among individual travelers and groups for short term stays. Mingling & sharing is part of the deal!

This room is centrally located in the hostel, near the kitchenette and shared spaces. Room #4 is located in the rear corner of our Hostel, and offers more privacy with a large window with a pasture/ boreal forest view, and features in- floor heat and a comfy queen bed. You’ll love the coziness! A hostel is a budget orientated, sociable accommodation that is shared among individual travelers and groups for short term stays. Mingling & sharing is part of the deal!
