Beautiful tranquil country cottage with private garden boasting spectacular views over the Pentland hills . The cottage is well situated for exploring the area, being just 5 minutes drive from Rosslyn chapel, (which you can also walk to from the cottage by following the path through the glen.)The Pentland hills are only 10 minutes drive, and it takes less than 30 minutes to drive to edinburgh city centre. It is a great place to come home to after a day of hillwalking ,working or sight seeing.

The Green sits within Ratho Park Steading: a stunning Scottish courtyard stable (built 1826; converted 2021). It borders Ratho Park Golf club (area of outstanding beauty), a walk from the heart of Ratho village, 8miles from Edinburgh centre. Rooms are stylishly furnished (with wifi), and proudly eco-friendly (ground source heated). Bring boots or bikes and head off from your own door. We’re situated close to the A702 making us a convenient stop over if you’re traveling up or down the country.

Private apartment in modern farmhouse

Relax in a modern home on our 20 hectare (50 acre) working organic farm just a few miles south of the Edinburgh city bypass. The apartment includes 3 rooms with a private external entrance and a locked internal door if needed. The single bedroom is ensuite; the other main room is a living space with a kitchenette and large sofa bed. We are close to the route south / north too and from Edinburgh but far enough away (1.5km) to not get interrupted by road / traffic noise.

The Historic Dalkeith Water Tower

The water tower is a bespoke home in an historic building sensitively converted by its architect owner. The tower is located in the historic town of Dalkeith and the settlement of Eskbank. 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh airport. A bus service into Edinburgh stops every 10- 15 minutes, the bus stop is a 2 minute walk away. 25 minutes by rail to the Scottish Borders or to the centre of Edinburgh from the local Eskbank Train Station, a 20 minute walk from the tower.
