The Stables have been converted into a spacious, sun-lit, private, fully self-contained accommodation over 2 levels with a shared garden and independent access (allowing you to come and go as you please). It is a short stroll to great food, leafy Edinburgh Gardens, public transport and bike paths.

Relax in this private 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom guesthouse on our peaceful 15-acre property in Diggers Rest, Victoria. Fully self-contained with kitchen, lounge, dining, and laundry. Our atmospheric cabin sits amongst the gum trees, surrounded by birdsong. Named after the Gububurras (Kookaburras) that share the property with us, it's only ten minutes walk to the Mount Macedon village for coffee or a short drive to find wineries, village markets and forest walking trails. Alternatively in the cooler months you can curl up by the fire and read or enjoy the view from the terrace by the fire pit. The calming effect of Guruburra on our guests is almost immediately

Less than 5kms from the CBD, Clifton Hill is bordered by Fitzroy, Collingwood, Abbotsford & Northcote as well as the 260 hectare Yarra Bend Park. Trains, trams and buses are between 5 & 10 minutes walking distance. 5 train stops to Jolimont Station, for MCG & Melbourne Park. A Visitor's Parking Permit is available for free, unrestricted parking on the street outside the residence.
