Vintners Rest by Meander Valley Vineyard

Private and luxurious self-contained cabin nestled amongst the vines on a 15-acre working vineyard in northern Tasmania. It’s a great halfway point between Devonport and Launceston (35min drive from either) We’re on the Tasting Tail, surrounded by a wealth of produce including truffle, salmon, raspberry, dairy and honey farms. In the distance lie the Western Tiers, Cradle Mountain, and the Tasmanian wilderness. It’s a place where the cleanest air, land and water produce truly outstanding wine.

Eco self contained cottage in a garden.

This mini 1 bedroom house was our trial run in building our main home using passive house principles. We are approx 1 km from the centre of Westbury in a rural location. (You may be lucky enough to sight some of our local wildlife during your stay! ) The cottage is suitable for a couple, however the extra single bed does enable some flexibility for guests.(i.e. if you wish to use both beds, please book for 3 people.) We provide a library of information about sustainability for guest perusal.

Blackwood Park Cottages - Ariel Cottages

The Ariel Cottage is a beautiful solid sandstone construction built in the heritage style from locally quarried stone. The internal fit out uses timber from our property and other native Tasmanian timber to give a luxury colonial feel with a building that does not compromise on character, aesthetic, or modern amenity. Guests have total, private control of the entire living space including covered deck, your own garden space, and exclusive use of the wooden cedar hot tub set into the deck.

Manna Hill Farm Cottages - a slice of Heaven!

You will love the amazing uninterrupted view of Mt Roland from the cottage veranda - this view changes continuously reflecting different moods of the mountain depending on the time of day or night and the changing seasons and weather conditions - cloud, rainbows, sunrise or sunset, and occasionally snow. The cottage is warm and cosy with a real flame gas fire to keep you toasty. One bedroom has a king bed and the other a queen bed with deluxe natural fibre linen and electric blankets.

Paradise Road Farm

Relax and enjoy stunning views in one of two architecturally designed cabins, nestled in the rolling hills, just outside the town of Sheffield and on the main road to Cradle Mountain. You will be staying on our working farm that is home to platypus in the dams, a small herd of Speckle Park beef cattle and some fat and friendly goats. The farm is proudly centered eco-friendly, regenerative principles, promoting a healthy environment for birds, insects and other life to flourish.

Castra High Country Cottages

Carol and Mark would like to introduce you to Castra High Country Cottage, nestled peacefully in the the Central North West of Tasmania. Inspired by reflections of yesteryear the cottage pays homage to the pioneers of the highlands, and the huts they lived in. You will be taken back to the times of our pioneers in this rustic cottage, but don't be misled by the simplistic exterior, inside, you will find everything you need to help you "Rewind, Relax, Rejuvenate."

Blackwood Cottage

Blackwood Cottage is a private, 1 bedroom, cottage that is situated on a farm at Blackwood Creek in Tasmania. The cottage is set within a grazing paddock and is only a 2 minute walk from Brumbys Creek. The property is nestled into the base of the Great Western Tiers which provides great opportunity for bushwalking and wildlife viewing. Blackwood Cottage is the perfect place to use as a base for outdoor adventures or as a place to relax in front of the fireplace.

‘The Crib’ at WhisperingWoods

The Crib’ at Whispering Woods, is a charming wooden cottage nestled amongst the native bushland and seasonal mountain creek. The cottage is part of a village like atmosphere set on a stunning 20-acre farm at the base of Mount Roland, bordering the Dasher River. Conveniently positioned on the road to Cradle Mountain, this hidden luxury stay is also a mere 10-minute drive from the picturesque tourist town of Sheffield.

The Stable Lofts - Pony

Step inside this historic converted stable, now a charming mudbrick loft and feel the embrace of rustic Tasmanian country life. Surrounded by lush gardens, serenaded by birdsong and visited by wallabies at dusk and dawn, this is a place where time slows down. Cosy up by the fire as night falls and watch the Milky Way light up the sky — the perfect setting for a romantic weekend escape.

Naivasha Cottage with antique outdoor bath

This 100 year old stone and timber cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Hidden away in the Tasmanian bush, you'll never want to leave. The generous living room has beautiful bush and lake views and a cozy wood fire. The antique bath in the open air bath house is the perfect place for stargazing. Feed the friendly chooks and ducks and feast on their fresh laid eggs.
