Walk to Magazine Street, the St. Charles streetcar, coffee shops, and the beautiful homes of the Garden District. Close to the French Quarter, but tucked away from the noise. City bus system close by, St Charles Streetcar within walking distance and only $7-$9 by Uber or Lyft into the center of the city. Parking outside right in front of the house. (Of course, on occasion, you may have to park a couple spots away, however it's rarely a problem to park right in front). It is 6.7 miles/15 minute drive to New Orleans/ French Quarter. We live next door. Absolutely no parties/ Booking Person must be the guest/ no more than 3 guest ever. We may ask for ID. Stroll along the Mandeville Lakefront or launch your boat across the street from this cottage. Enjoy bike riding on the Tammany Trace or rent Kyaks for a day on the lake. You will find many things to do and enjoy in Mandeville. Two bikes are available for guest use and there are bike rentals near the Mandeville Trailhead. The trailhead hosts a farmers market on Saturdays, free Spring and Fall concerts and a splash pad for the kids. Mandeville is a bike and pedestrian friendly community.
