Climate controlled! What is a Yurt? Yurts originated in Mongolia. The Mongolian people were nomadic, and they took their homes (yurts) with them as they tended to, and traveled, with their livestock. Today yurts are built on a platform & consist of two thick layers of canvas with a layer of insulation in between, and most notably a domed skylight at their center. 5 mins to Alpine, 30 mins to Fort Davis, Marfa, and Marathon. Big Bend Park, Terlingua, & Lajitas are roughly 100 miles away.

The Cabin Tulum is located on top of a cliff of a camping and surfing place, far from the city; however, the cabin has total privacy since this area of the cliff will only have access to you as a guest. The Tulum cabin has what is necessary to spend an unforgettable night with your partner, has a garden area with table and grill (but has no kitchen), know and you will not regret it, it will be an unforgettable memory. Its spacious porch affords the best view of the mountains of Big Bend National Park as well as the stars at night. Although it has an indoor bedroom and bathroom, guests love the outdoor shower as well as the open air bed on the patio.
