Cozy alpine guesthouse cabins with in-house natural hotspring baths in the forested highlands of Japan's epic 3000m Nagano Alps, offering the closest possible accommodation to the "Roof of Japan" - the Alpine Route and Takase hiking treks. Hakuba ski resorts start 15 minutes away. We also have a compact music studio in the house - suitable for a small group of musicians with space for 3 to 4 players and 6 to 8 intimate audience seats. Note: the innkeeper stays in the house but out of the way.

King or Twin Superior

This room is a Japanese Tatami room with western beds. The room is a south east facing room with great sunlight throughout the day. The beds can be set up as 2 x single beds or 1 King size bed. Extra futons can be added with up to 3 people able to stay comfortably. Extra costs per person for larger groups. Located a 15 min walk / 4 min drive from Tsugaike kogen ski area, a beautiful log cabin villa at the end of the road. The home features five ensuite bedrooms, carpeted and wood flooring throughout the home and heating throughout - everything you need to keep warm and cozy while enjoying the winter. The place is really quiet and peaceful surrounded by forest. Parking available. Breakfast included.
