Centrally located, walking distance from the pier with private parking. Hard to find a better spot in Oban. Very clean, very well-equipped, large enough and comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen is great and there is a bit of a view on the harbour. Lorraine is an attentive host and very responsive. A very comfortable and uncomplicated stay. Would highly recommend.

This apartment was perfect for my son and I to stay for 5 nights while he played a golf competition in West Kilbride. Very close to Largs and Eleanor left some nice restaurant recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. I would highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

My husband and I were heading on a an adventure over to the outer Hebrides and needed somewhere to stay the night before in Oban. We found this perfect little flat overlooking the bay with fantastic views. The host Elizabeth was fantastic with her prompt contact and the details she provided. The flat was exactly as described and exceptionally clean and although we didn’t use most of the facilities, has everything one would need for cooking and staying for two people. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch. If I return to Oban I would 100% select this place if possible. Thank you.

Beautiful flat in a perfect location with stunning views! the flat was spacious for me, my mum and my sister to share, with everything we needed. Claudio met us at the flat to let us in, show us around and even brought us a little bag of groceries to get us started for the weekend! The location is great for getting around Largs and anywhere you need to drive to. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting Largs. Thank you Claudio!

Robert's place is in the perfect location for exploring Oban and the surrounding areas! It's a lovely apartment, with excellent views, and plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Very easy to get to from the train, and Robert was a delightful host. Would definitely recommend!

A great wee flat to explore the surrounding region from. Also appreciated that the stuff we were likely to forget (milk, bread, butter, etc) were all in the kitchen!

What an excellent option to stay in Oban !!. Gillian's apartment was better than our expectations. Amaizing view from the living, very well clean and comfortable. Oban is a nice place to stay in Scotland, and Gillian's is the rigth place to be in.

Met with Peter during check-in. The place is really awesome. Really felt at home accompanied by the beautiful seaside view. Its a once in a lifetime experience for me to be able to stay by the sea in N.Ireland. To be honest, i will for sure book the same apartment again if i happen to be in N.Ireland again. Peter was very accommodating and gave us tips on nearby hidden gems for us to explore. Having stayed in total of 4 apartments during my trip in Ireland, Peter is by far the best host we met throughout our trip. Thank you soo much for hosting us and i really felt sad during our check-out day as the place is really amazing.

Cragowlet was a beautiful stay with big and beautiful rooms. Very specious and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom which is always a big plus. Brian as a host was wonderful! Helpful and ready to give guidence and advice for local activities if we needed it. Cragowlet was beautiful and we definitely want to go back if we're in the area again. Couldn't recommend more! 👌

not only is Marcool a beautiful cottage, the scenery and atmosphere in the area is stunning. like something from a film.

We booked relatively last minute to stay with Michelle, yet we were catered for above and beyond. The wonderful little touches of cheese and biscuits, milk and juice, not to mention the lovely easter treats. We felt very much at home and extremely comfortable in the house, it is so homely. The location is superb as you can walk everywhere, we didnt use the car once from arriving to leaving. We walked to boat trips and restaurants, as well as to the ferry to Kerrera. Thank you Michelle!

We had the most wonderful stay at Loch View House! The location is incredibly serene and scenic and the house itself is gorgeous with really thoughtful touches! The place was big enough to host all 12 of us, including kids and each room is perfectly decorated! Ema was incredibly friendly and on hand to help too! We’ve made some incredible memories that we’ll treasure forever.

We had a lovely stay in Tina’s place. A lot of space in the house which was good for the children. There were toys provided too which helped. The house has a walled garden too for people who need this. The outside space overlooking the pier is not the most beautiful place in the island but it is what it is not Tina’s fault. However, the views from inside the property are breathtaking. Minor issues: some furniture are getting dated, there is no WC upstairs, electric showers. Overall I recommend this place for families and groups of friends

We loved staying in The Wee House. It was perfect - very clean and fresh, cosy, comfortable, warm and what a pretty outlook over the bay! It had everything you need- in fact a home from home. Lovely garden too. We could have happily stayed there for longer. Highly recommend this sweet house to anyone going to Islay. Port Ellen is a great base to explore the island and it also has lovely places to eat out. We had dinner in the SeaSalt Bistro and it was delicious and the staff were great. The sun was shining the whole time we were there-May-so we got to appreciate the picturesque setting at maximum! Thank you Janice for your quick responses to our booking. So glad we managed to get a stay at the Wee House as it is very popular.

We had a wonderful stay!! Lynn is an amazing host: very responsive, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The home is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of the loch. There were seven of us (adults) and we were all very comfortable. The garden (yard) is large with soft, mossy grass, which our dogs loved! Helensburgh is not too far and offers nice places to eat (La Barca's) and fun stores for shopping (Tweedies). Highly recommend! 5 stars🌟

We had a wonderful stay in John and Fran’s beautiful flat. The flat is spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. Fran gave us a super warm welcome and made us feel right at home. We couldn’t recommend highly enough!

This well-equipped ground-floor apartment looking out onto the sea a few 100 ms away is fairly centrally located in Ayr. Good access to Burns birthplace in Alloway and the amazing Culzean castle along the coast. If you are interested in history, there is much to see in the neighbouring countryside and coastline apart from the town-centre. Alison is a great host and left lots of welcome treats including butter, milk and Scottish goodies! She was quick to respond to our queries and provided lots of useful advice. A wonderful stay in a cosy, clean and comfortable flat with a reasonable time to check out at 11 am! Kids loved access to both Netflix and Disney! Thank you Alison!

Fantastic place to stay on Bute with a group of friends. Nice space to relax at the back of the property also. Will hopefully book again.

Beautiful compact space, overlooking amazing views of the sea. A tranquil space, with a well equipped kitchen . This being maybe the 6th Airb&b place we have stayed in . We were amazed with Vincent & Nicole’s generosity, the welcome card, and gifts , the milk . We had stopped to pick up some groceries and had been disappointed as the farm foods had no orange juice . A pleasant surprise to open the fridge and find some . Vincent messaged to say we could help ourselves to the tea/coffees etc & other supplies . We were fortunate with the weather as only a bit of rain on a couple of days , made our 7 days Wizz past . A couple of day in the amazingly beautiful highlands, some local exploration. A beautiful week . We would definitely like to come back at some point in the future .

John was a brilliant host with very good communication , when we go back to inverary we will definitely stay at his place again.

Always look forward to and staying here during my annual visit, such a great space with literally everything you need in the apartment and on the doorstep. 🥂

The Editor’s Choice is a lovely apartment: quiet, spotless and close to restaurants and the port. We appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen, the plants and the tasteful decor. It is up three flights of stairs, so make sure you’re travelling light! The reward for getting up there is the fine views to the south, across the port and up to pulpit hill.

This really is a beautiful place. The interior is stunning, but the views across Rothesay Bay are simply perfect. Our hosts were friendly and responsive. A minor issue (nobody’s fault - just one of those things) was rectified professionally and quickly. Sometimes, it’s not the situation that’s important, it’s how people react to it. The reaction was top class. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we hope to stay there again in the not too distant future. Thanks for having us. Phill, Adele and Charlie.
