A cosy mid-terraced fishermans cottage, now with a wood burner, located only 1 minute walking distance to the gorgeous Shandwick beach. Ideal for a peaceful seaside holiday retreat. Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. Logs: we provide a bag of logs for each stay per week.If you require extra logs, I can provide contact details of logs providers locally. Well behaved (not too large) dogs also welcome.

Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers & families (with kids). Easy access to all transport links. We welcome everybody.

Trails End A relaxing shepherds hut

Trails End is a handcrafted shepherds hut nestled in a quiet village on the shores of Loch Duich. This tiny home has a modern living space which is suited to 2 people, with a double bed and single bunk, a bathroom and kitchen area complete the shepherds huts interior. The private outside space is wonderful for soaking in the atmosphere of the loch and surrounding mountains. It is a fantastic base for exploring the local area with many attractions close by or a rest stop during a walk.

Relax at this unique getaway in the small seaside town of Fortrose. The accommodation has its own private balcony and boasts stunning views of Fortrose harbour and across the Moray Firth. Chanonry Point, the best place for dolphin watching in Britain, is only a 20 min walk. Close to the popular NC500 route, it is ideal for a romantic break for two. The wood burning stove will keep you cosy on colder nights. There is so much to explore in the area, two nights may not be enough!

Dearg Mor, Fort William

Situated in Caol, 2.5 miles from Fort William and 4-5 miles from Aonach Mor. Dearg Mor is a modern, self contained, en-suite cabin on the shores of Loch Linnhe situated on the Great Glen Way. There are stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Neptunes staircase is a 10 min walk away and, if you don’t fancy walking, there are HiBike electric bicycles for hire outside the shops close by accessible by app. Please note there are no cooking facilities in the cabin.

We welcome you to our guest flat which is attached to our home in Portmahomack. We are a sand dune away from a safe beach and coastal walks where you may be lucky and see otters, seals and some of the Moray Firth dolphins.The village has a golf course with a hospitable clubhouse And a fascinating museum the TARBAT DISCOVERY CENTRE whose website is well worth a look at. The general store has a good choice of foodstuffs which you can cook in our well equipped kitchen.

Recently fully refurbished to a very high standard, this studio apartment offers a great deal of flexibility in a unique location. Bright, enclosed, private studio apartment close to the beach and all the amenities that the village of Rosemarkie has to offer, such as golf, stunning walks and a beach suitable for swimming, paddle boarding etc. Located in the grounds of Crofters Restaurant and within easy walking distance of convenience store, shops and a museum.

The Otter caravan sleeps 4 guests with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. It has a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge with tv, fireplace, DVDs, books and games. The caravan has been thoughtfully and individually furnished. It is situated on the Shores of the Beauly Firth with incredible views to the Mountains beyond with fantastic bird and wildlife watching opportunities. The caravan is double glazed and central heated.

Unlike many Loch Ness cottages, we are not on a road, just the garden between us and the Loch. In July and August, Saturday arrivals/departures only.
