Walk down the wooded valley right from the back door of this restored historic miner's cottage. Period features like flagstone floors and beamed, vaulted ceilings meet contemporary conveniences such as underfloor heating and a free-standing tub. A lovely spacious cottage with rustic Pembrokeshire character situated right next to the coast. Two double bedrooms, open plan living area, large kitchen and spacious veranda. The cottage is located close to Nolton Haven, Newgale, Little haven and druidston beach. All of which have pubs and restaurants to suit your needs. The cottage accommodates 4 people. There is a good sized master bedroom with amazing views and a kingsized bed. There is a second bedroom with a comfy double bed with an ensuite bathroom. Both bedrooms have adequate storage and hanging space for clothes. The main bathroom has a stand alone bath, which is great for relaxing. The cottage has an office room which could accommodate an extra guest on a sofa bed. The kitchen is fitted with a cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and all necessary utensils. The open plan living room has a comfy sofa, a "42" flat screen TV, record player, books to browse through and a range of board games. The cottage has under floor heating, access to wifi, internet connection and use of a washing machine and dryer. Overlooking the flowery meadow is the south facing veranda which is perfect for watching the dramatic coastal sunsets. The cottage is situated by national trust woodland, so it is not uncommon to see birds of prey, foxes and the residential barn owl. Situated in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park and surrounded by National Trust land, Carren Bach cottage is part of the Southwood Estate. Spot all kinds of wildlife, surf, and discover numerous nearby villages, pubs, and restaurants. The cottage sleeps four but there is a sofa bed for an extra guest.

Ty Venda, perfect for exploring the coastal path

Ty Venda is a two-bedroom annexe with an open-plan lounge, diner, and fitted kitchen. On the first floor are two bedrooms; one has a standard double bed and the other a smaller 4ft double suitable for one adult or two children. The bathroom has a gas-heated shower and WC. There is an additional WC on the ground floor. Patio doors lead out onto the garden, which is fully enclosed, making it secure for any fur babies that visit. It is equipped with a picnic table and benches for alfresco dining.

There is off road parking in front of the annex we are perfectly situated as a base to explore many attractions eg beaches, coastal countryside of Pembrokeshire and there are plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance as well as many more attractions it has to offer . The cabin has it's own Log fired Sweedish hottub and indoor log burner making our homemade structure fit for any season. We are only 4.5 miles from the beaches along our amazing Pembrokeshire coast and our central location makes us an ideal base to explore our County. As hosts we take pride in highlighting the best our local area has to offer.

The Folly: A charming, secluded waterside cottage.

A traditional Pembrokeshire cottage in a unique, idyllic woodland and waterside setting. The cottage is reached via a private farm road 1/2 a mile from the centre of Cosheston village. It has its own slipway, providing direct access to the estuary for beach walks and launching small boats, canoes and paddleboards . The cottage has been recently restored and furnished to a very high standard. It has a new kitchen and new bathrooms, full central heating and a wood-burning stove.

Explore the west coast of Pembs; Newgale, Nolton, Marloes, Dale, St David’s or take a drive up to the Preseli Hills to hike and explore. Visit the bustling colourful town of Tenby and surrounding beaches on the south coast or stay local and cycle/walk from the house along the 12km Brunel trail to Neyland.

Central location for the whole of Pembrokeshire, beaches, cliff walks and hills only 25 mins. Our estuary great for birdwatching. This is the self contained annex to my home, but very private and quiet. Full kitchen. Double bed, washer and dryer. Garden with seating. Table for working with good wi fi. Books and boardgames. You can also easily access the north of the country. No smokers or smoking please. We are on the edge of the village which has a good shop.
