John and his wife were very welcoming. The accommodations were exactly what I needed after spending days packing for a move. The area is very quiet and peaceful and my favorite part was sitting on the back patio surrounded by a mini forest! It gives a calm and serene feeling.

Really convenient location. Stylishly designed space in an historic building. The zoo was within arms reach and the downtown area had neat shops and restaurants. The only criticism was the noise from the street and restaurant on Fri night, which overpowered 2 noise machines. Sat night was totally fine. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was within walking distance to Truist ballpark, restaurants, the art district, as well as close to lots of other attractions. The place is quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again without hesitation.

This place was absolutely charming and spotlessly clean. All the beauty of an old home but with all modern amenities. Lots of plants and natural light. The kitchen is a great spot for bird watching. We would definitely recommend a stay there!! Fantastically priced as well. Close to downtown and all the fun the town has to offer.

Haydee was a great host. This is a very cool place to stay in Winston Salem. The art in all the rooms is amazing and the place was clean with a great shower and kitchen. It is spacious with a living area. There is a cute coffee shop next door. The only down side is the area which is transitioning and not really walkable at night. But by car it is close to downtown. It was an experience worth having!

A lovely place, we enjoyed our stay, there was a binder inside that described all of the things we needed to and could want to know about, like local places to eat, and a bottle of wine was there at check in ! Yummy ! The designated parking spot on the property was not available, we first parked on the street in the front of the house at first, we didn't know until we read the binder inside that we could park on the side street, which avoids walking up hill with our suitcase and things, parking on the side street was fine, few little steps to go up, but very close to the entrance. Enteringwh is down several, steep concrete steps, definitely pack light, if you have substantial luggage or balance issues you need to be very careful, there is no railing, that is the only thing I would change about our stay. Quiet hours from 9p to 9a were very much followed as the family lives upstairs, there are kids and a dog, but the noise was not bad at all during waking hours. We thank you !!!!

The best rental house I’ve ever booked. There was nothing missing. I appreciated that they provided basic cooking supplies like oil, salt, pepper, etc and they provided hand soap, dish washing liquid, etc. that many other rentals do not provide. The extra towels for the lake and hot tub were a huge help. If I had to pick one negative to point out to renters, it would be that if you have kids under 3 you will have to watch them very closely with the open stairs. But the rest of house, grounds, furniture, etc are all kid friendly. The house and grounds are beautiful, just as described. The host is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

My family stayed at Joy's house for 5 nights. Everything was perfect with our stay. Joy and Eric were great hosts and communicated well. Our stay even included some delicious homemade cookies. The house itself is lovely and very clean. The tiny home was also great. Would highly recommend.

Such a homey and welcoming place! There were so many thoughtful touches, from the Dewey’s cookies waiting for us to the little details throughout the space. We loved it so much, we decided to pay it forward with a treat for the next guest! The hosts were incredibly accommodating and always quick to respond. The cleanliness was absolutely sparkling. My teenage kids especially enjoyed the board games, books, and having a TV right in the bedroom. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with essentials – we actually forgot a toothbrush, but thankfully one was provided! Having access to laundry was also a big plus, letting us pack lighter for the trip. Overall, it was an amazing experience. We felt so relaxed and at home, and we’ll definitely be back when we need another peaceful getaway!

Amazing house on a dead end street with a beautiful view of the pond and woods. No neighbors except on one side but don’t even notice them. Very private and quiet with a lot of stuff to do. Myself and 6 co-workers were working out of town at the Toyota plant for the weekend so we decided to get a house. It was much cheaper than 7 hotel rooms and we never got bored after work. Only issue was the 2nd floor AC unit was struggling to keep up during the day but eventually cooled off by night time. Just needs some Freon I’m sure. Great communication with the management company about the issue though. Backyard is a dream: basketball, cornhole, fire pit and much more. Would definitely stay again, it’s a must rent for big groups of people.

Faith was an incredible host. The house was well stocked with EVERYTHING! The communication was easy, check in and check out a breeze. Faith and Josh's vision of The Fogleman House was exactly as they had depicted and much more. They bring out the charm of the longtime existing home to a new era but have kept the charm and history. I am a bull in a china cabinet and broke a wine glass and chipped a plate. Faith was very understanding. If you want a home away from home this is your place. I hope to visit again in the future.

We had a perfect week at Blue Haven! So thankful for a gracious host and a beautiful peaceful place to spend time with family.

This is by far my favorite Airbnb. The place was perfect for us and Kerri went way beyond being a great host. We stayed for a few weeks and didn’t have any problems. Kerri was available but we also had complete privacy. I would stay here permanently given the chance. We will definitely be back.

Adrianna was a great host. We received all instructions in a very timely manner and she was very responsive with our questions. The house was exactly as pictured. Kitchen is fully equipped. It was also very quiet and we all slept great. Location is close enough to Main Street restaurants that you can walk there. Enjoyed our stay!
