Overlooking beautiful pastures, the cottage was formerly the large painting studio of Delaware Valley artist Peter Sculthorpe. The studio has been re-imagined as a peaceful retreat for families, friends and couples.

This two hundred year old post-and-beam farm building has been converted into two elegant, private apartments that share a common entry. Either apartment can be reserved separately, or both can be shared by a group of guests. Tucked into the woods of the Texter Mountain, our little home is a custom built modern getaway. Its beautiful timber framework, high steel beams for suspension, and glass front makes for the perfect retreat. We created this space as a place to be refreshed and rejuvenated and we hope it is all that, and more!

The loft

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. My goal is to create a romantic getaway experience, the barn that the loft is in is visible from our house but we have done our best to make the space private. The room is fully stocked with linens, bath towels, soaps, lotions and kitchen products.
