Furnas: aluguel por temporada de casas

A truly beautiful home with stunning views across the sea and the western side of the island with wonderful sunsets. Extremely private, the sound of the sea to send you to sleep. Try the bar you can see from the home on the beach, great fresh seafood at a very reasonable price. A great home to relax in with easy access to the whole island would make it an excellent base for a week stay.

Wir sind als Familie mit zwei Kindern (7 und 9 Jahre) verreist. Das Haus liegt am Hang und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf Vila Franca. Die Unterkunft war sauber und gepflegt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Wir waren zwei Wochen in der Unterkunft und hatten für die gesamte Zeit einen Mietwagen. Ohne Auto ist das Haus nicht zu empfehlen, da es am Rande der Stadt liegt. Mit Auto ist es allerdings sehr gut geeignet, da die Anbindung von Vila Franca in alle Richtungen der Insel sehr gut ist. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub.

Das Haus von Jason war grossartig und man hat sich sehr schnell wohl gefühlt. Was wir sehr geschätzt haben war, dass es eine grosszügige Grösse hatte, und man viele private Rückzugsmöglichkeiten im Haus hatte. Dies war uns sehr wichtig, da die Aktivitäten auf den Azoren sehr stark vom Wetter abhängig sind, und man so auch gut einen Regentag zu Hause hat verbringen können. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und liess keine Wünsche offen. Der Ort in dem das Haus steht ist sehr ruhig, aber auf der Insel sehr gut gelegen. Man kann von dort aus alles innert 15-35 Minuten gut erreichen. Die Tipps von Jason waren sehr hilfreich und man hat meine Fragen umgehend beantwortet. Auch die Möglichkeit, draussen am Pool ein BBQ machen zu können war sehr cool. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und würde ich wieder buchen.

A Truly Perfect Stay – More Than Just an Airbnb!
Our stay was absolutely perfect. It felt more like a hotel, but with all the warmth of a family home. The property is stunning, with a beautiful pool and breathtaking views the ideal spot to unwind. The hosts and staff were incredible. Marillia, one of the owners, took our children to milk cows and even baked cookies with them – such thoughtful, memorable experiences. Breakfast, prepared by Nelia and Martha, was fresh, delicious, and full of variety a highlight each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and we felt at home from day one. We’re already planning our return to the Azores, and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you for your kindness and for making our stay so special!

The home is located on a beautiful property and the ocean pool was a magical experience. The home was well-equipped and Miguel left a nice welcome basket.

Mit dem Mietwagen super erreichbar vom Flughafen ca. 20 min. Bin im großen Haus untergekommen. Von der Küche und vom Schlafzimmer direkter Blick auf die Nordküste der Insel. Restaurants und Supermarkt in der Nähe. Die Anlage mit Pool und die Unterkunft war sehr gepflegt. Die Gastbegeberin war super freundlich, immer erreichbar und hat mir auf Wunsch noch Reisetipps und Restaurantempfehlungen gegeben. Klare Empfehlung!

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The kids loved the pool and the host was extremely welcoming and friendly.

Ines' place was as described. Very large space with plenty of rooms and beds and all the amenities. Short walk to a local market and to a church with great views of the coast. Neighborhood and location felt safe and parking was available on the street (best to have a good parallel-parker in your group!). Overall, it was a very good experience, good communication with Ines, and nice Azorean accommodations.

We really enjoyed our stay in Furnas. The house is big, cozy and very well located (you can easily walk around the town). You also have all the amenities you need at your disposal. The recommandation book was great too! One detail worth mentioning; we travelled in March so we could smell humidity (smell not overly strong but noticeable). There is a dehumidifier in one of the bedrooms if needed. Thanks again for the stay

We had a wonderful 7 night stay at Maria's house, we can highly recommend it. We were welcomed by Elisabete who was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed, she gave several local recommendations and checked we were ok during our stay. The house is bigger than it looks on the photos, it is a great location in Lagoa with parking closed by. We were a family of four and that space was plenty big enough - the second bedroom had a trundle style bed so another single base and mattress pulls out from underneath the initial bed providing ample sleeping space for two people. We hired a car for the week and Lagoa was a great base for being able to explore the island. Overall we loved our time in the house and wouldn't hesitate to return to the beautiful Sao Miguel.

This house was in a great location, easy to get anywhere in the island. It was a convenient space with room for a family of 3 adults to spread out and has a great communal space as well. It was really nice to have a garage to park our rental car. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals and a grocery store right down the road. Check-in was flexible and we were greeted, given a quick tour, and left with the keys. The beach was a quick walk down the road and a path and we were the only ones there! I recommend this rental to anyone coming to Sao Miguel.

Hello amis voyageurs. Nous étions 4 adultes entre 50 et 57 ans, sans enfants. Voyageurs très expérimentés..., randonneurs, surfeurs à nos heures et surtout : amateurs de belle et vierge nature, de découvertes en tout genre (architecture, art et cuisine locaux...) Selon nos goûts personnels, tout fût parfait! - Habitat : Type, confort, emplacement, calme... : excellent! - Relation avec l'hôte : excellente! Foncez découvrir cette île magnifique et merveilleuse de beauté avant qu'elle ne soit envahie par la foule touristique, dans 10 ans ou moins!

Absolutely five stars! A cozy cottage in an idyllic setting. Very clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked. Anabela was a wonderful host. She was very kind to offer us early check-in as we were traveling with kids – we greatly appreciated that! She welcomed us upon arrival, gave us a nice tour and left us local produce that got us going for the day. We absolutely loved the calm, peaceful view from the cottage with the ocean in the backdrop. All in all it was a very comfortable stay. Thanks so much Anabela for hosting us!

We have enjoyed the place - starting with morning coffee at the terrace looking at the ocean, sounds of birds and cows, finishing the day with a view at the ocean and having a glass of wine. Beautiful green surrounding.

this home was all it described and more. Rui and Leonia were welcoming and very helpful with many tips for restaurants and must see's. the house was amazing, very clean and comfortable, had everything described. definitely recommend this home for couples and families! it made our vacation!!

nous avions la maison entière, le lieu est calme et il y a tout ce qu'il faut.

Très bon séjour. La vue et la disposition de la maison qui permet de profiter de la vue de partout sont vraiment le point fort de ce gîte. C'est aussi très agréable de pouvoir accéder à pied à toutes les activités que propose cette belle ville de Furnas. Merci aussi à José Maria toujours attentif et proactif.

A great and unique place to stay! Beautifully maintained. Given the age of the house, the wind can be heard/felt on windy/stormy days. This takes some getting used to. Please know that the house is situated in a beautiful park, with keys to access the park after opening hours. On the lake you can use kayaks, and there are also kids bikes in the shed.

Het beachhouse is het perfecte vakantiehuis. Het leven is er zo ontspannen. Het uitzicht en de tuin zijn fantastisch en het terras is de beste plek, ook voor zonsondergangen. Via de prive toegang naar het strand maak je een heerlijk verkwikkende ochtendduik in de oceaan

this place is amazing, we felt at home since the first moment and the house is really nice. Marlene's is a super host, kind and friendly. She was always easy to reach and on top of everything. She gave us super good recommendations about restaurants, places and even she left us some food because our flight arrived late. We would recommend this place 200%!

My stay at Sonia and her dad's place was truly fantastic. The house strikes a perfect balance between cozy and spacious, and it's very well stocked with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Nestled in the mountains yet just minutes away from Furnas and the many local attractions, the location couldn’t be better—it offers both convenience and a serene retreat in nature. The communication was super easy, and the cleanliness prestene. Everything about this place, from its prime location to the many thoughtful touches to the little house made by the hosts, made my visit exceptional. Even the bed was comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with easy access to most of the island.

Antonio’s place was perfect! He was a great host, quick to respond to any questions we had, allowed us to check in much earlier because of our 6:00am arrival to the island and offered to help us throughout our stay. The cleaning crew even changed out our towels three times during our week stay! The home is in a quiet location in Agua de Pau and a quick walk to the ocean. We would certainly stay here again!
