Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

The Historic Catholic Mission is just a stone throw to the South. The National Bison Range is just up the hill and to the North. It has a full kitchen and can sleep up to 4 people with a queen bed and a full size futon (both located in the living area). Relax in the yard and enjoy the beautiful Mountain view.
