Lovely little cottage in a lovely area of the country. We were down to visit a friend and watch a local theatrical production but we also managed to do some walking in beautiful woodlands that were just a few minutes drive away. East Harling is a very pleasant walk away - but probably not at night - as part of the walk is on unlit roads with no pavements. Possibly a little unfairly, the location review was dropped a star for this. Mary was very friendly, responsive and provided comprehensive and accurate information. All-in-all it’s a lovely bright little cottage in a lovely tranquil location ….. I nearly forgot the hot tub - lovely touch - clean and a very welcome mode of relaxation.

In stayed for a long weekend with my family. The house was lovely and perfect for me as the children could play in the conservatory. The garden was lovely and my boys really enjoyed being outside and playing. House was lovely and I would stay again.

Sally’s place felt like going through a portal into a magical garden. The house was so cozy with beautiful vintage decor and an amazing fireplace. The highlight of the trip was eating breakfast outside by the river and watch the ducks. And can’t forget about the lovely host Sally is! Always responsive and helpful with lots of good food and nature walks recommendations.

We stayed at forestry cottage for the weekend for my mums 70th birthday. The cottage was so homely and comfortable and a really good size for 7 people. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive, little touches like doggy treats and supplies (we bought our family dog) and balloons, party poppers and a happy birthday banner was left for my mum which was a really nice touch! The cottage is set in the most beautiful/peaceful place with decent walks around the lake. All in all we had a very lovely stay, would 100% recommend.

Lovely cosy cottage located close to all the shops and restaurants in Holt. Cosy beds and sofa. Great to have a drive to park the car, and easy to get to lots of great locations for walking and the beach. We didn’t use the hot tub as it didn’t feel like it was in a private enough spot, but this is just personal preference. Great hosts, thank you so much.

This was our second stay at Russell Cottage, which says a lot, since we usually prefer trying new places! The cottage is charming and peaceful, with a lovely quiet setting (though there’s a bit of road noise during rush hour, it didn’t bother us much). It’s beautifully kept and has everything you need to cook a proper meal. We even got lucky with a sunny day and made the most of the BBQ on the terrace. The location is great - just a 5-minute walk to a garden centre where you can grab extra logs if you're visiting outside of summer, plus there's a nice little café there too. It’s only about 13 min drive to Wells/ Holkham Beach, and the hot tub back at the cottage is perfect for winding down after a day out. Best of all, our little Pomeranian loves it there - it’s become a favourite for the whole family. All in all, a great value stay, and the hosts are always warm and welcoming without being intrusive. We’d happily return again!

We had the most wonderful time! The property is absolutely gorgeous to roam around and the house is really comfortable, well equipped and beautiful to stay in. Highly recommend!

The Little Owl is an absolutely beautiful place, and I truly couldn’t recommend it more for anyone seeking a peaceful escape in the heart of the British countryside. We mostly cooked our own meals in the well-equipped kitchen, but the location was ideal for exploring nearby Bury St Edmunds, and we even managed a lovely day trip to Cambridge for some shopping after check-out. Hayley is a fantastic host—everything was seamless from start to finish. She was always quick to respond and we really appreciated the flexibility with early check-in and late check-out, where possible. One of the highlights was soaking in the hot tub, surrounded by stunning views—it honestly felt like our own little world. We had such a wonderful time and only wish we could’ve stayed longer. I can’t recommend Hayley and The Little Owl enough!

We had a lovely time at Nick and Liz’s cottage with our kids. It was a great base to explore around Norfolk. The view across the fields was really peaceful. Liz was really helpful with local recommendations for pubs and places to explore.

Litcham is such a beautiful village with all the amenities needed along with a very nice fish & chip shop. Rebecca’s house was lovely. Parking to the rear of the property was very easy. We liked the open plan feel to the downstairs. If there was one thing that Rebecca could do, it would be to change the kitchen floor step, as although clear signs are out ‘mind your step’ it was very easy to forget and on a number of occasions found ourselves tripping down the step. We would highly recommend and will definitely be booking again.

Lovely little place just outside centre of holt. Stayed with my two kids (4yo and 6yo). They slept in the bunks and loved it. The house is cosy - 1 min walk to centre of holt. Would return for a winter cosy romantic break for 2. Used as a base to see surrounding Norfolk. There are a handful of public parking spaces right outside the house - otherwise there is a paid for car park 2 mins walk (8£ per 24 hours). Fish and chips literally opposite the house. Would stay again!

We stayed at Bluebell Cottage for 5 days to celebrate my birthday and loved it. We had such a great time and were so comfortable in the cottage. From the minute we walked in, it felt like home. We went out every day exploring the area and coming back to the cottage after a long day felt wonderfully relaxing. I love North Norfolk so much, from the beautiful natural beaches to the characterful small towns and villages. We are definitely returning and will book the cottage again for sure. The holiday home "Poets Corner" is perfect for a stay in the region. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is cozy, very clean and equipped with many loving details. Kenninghall is a charming place. Everything you need is there, a grocery store, a pub and a cafe. You can also go for a walk, for example to the zoo in Banham. The neighbors are very friendly. Many thanks to Marie for this lovely stay and the friendly conversation. We are now back home in Germany and will remember the beautiful Easter holiday.

This was a perfect place and I really hope I get to come back. The setting is beautiful, the area is quiet, the house itself is comfy and clean, the kitchen & rooms are well equipped, and host Elizabeth is friendly and welcoming. The location is fab - there's an award-winning bakery/cafe 7mins drive away, gardens to visit 9mins drive away, and Rutland Water 15mins drive away. To get to stay in separate rooms as friends yet have the shared homely space was great. We cooked a full meal, as the equipment, oils & seasoning we needed were provided in the kitchen. We connected our laptops up via our own HDMI cable to the TV and put our feet up on the reclining sofas. Perfect! Would recommend.

We had such a wonderful stay at Albert’s Cottage. It’s in a perfect place to visit places easily and is easy to get to and park up. Imogen was helpful and recommended some great places to visit. The cottage was equipped with everything you need for a great break. Would love to come back sometime soon.

A lovely, clean and well equipped cottage in a quiet village. David is a great host providing lots of little extras which were greatly appreciated and responded to messages very quickly. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage in a beautiful location. The village is charming and peaceful, and it made a great base for us to explore the nearby beaches in Wells with our toddler. The cottage had the essentials we needed and was comfortable and welcoming. It was perfect for a relaxing break.

Very good stay. We arrived a day late, of course this was not an issue and the place was exactly as described. We have 3/4 week more work in the area so will be looking Debbie’s house up again

We very much enjoyed our weekend at Lavinia’s cottage. The moment you stepped in through the door you felt at home in a blissful location. Lavinia is the perfect host, excellent with communication and checking we had everything we needed. I highly recommended this property

The cottage was in a perfect location for exploring North Norfolk and, of course, to stroll and walk around Walsingham. It was extremely quiet and provided a much-needed retreat for us. The cottage was pretty much as described - very cozy and just right for us as a couple. Clear, detailed information sent before we arrived which we found very useful indeed. Kitchen had all we needed for a short break. So if you are looking for a quiet spot with eacy access to all North Norfolk has to offer, then Poppy Cottage is a good choice!

We had a wonderful stay at Caroline’s beautiful barn conversion. Everything was immaculate, lots of space, well equipped and furnished and so comfortable in every respect. Caroline was so welcoming and helpful and had provided so many very thoughtful extra touches, from all the ingredients for a delicious full breakfast with bacon and amazing fresh hen’s eggs, chocolate brownies, sweets to toiletries and so much more. Caroline really had anticipated all any guests could possibly need. The setting is so peaceful and just a short stroll to all the amenities of this lovely village and so easy to explore Cambridge from too. We were all very sad to leave at the end of our stay.

This was our second week staying here, after a brilliant experience the first time staying here, we had to come back again. Thank you for hosting us during our stay.
