Walking is the name of the game in such a central location! Transport in from the Airport can be by bus or tram and both stops are a 5 minute walk up the hill to the flat.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

The Coach House is a luxury 18th century Coach house which has been renovated and modernised to an extremely high standard and is situated in the vibrant Broughton area of Edinburgh based in the heart of the city centre. Princess Street is a mere 10 minutes walk away and Queen Street tram stop is only a 5 minute walk away. The stylish property has its own main entrance, is arranged over 2 floors with its own private rear garden and 2 sunny balconies making it a truly unique place to stay.

With its own, easy to access, main-door entrance and vestibule, all the rooms are quietly located to the rear, overlooking gardens. Only two steps to manage with bags or mobility issues. The ideal base to explore the city in a popular area with cafes, bars and shops nearby. Holyrood Palace and Park, Arthur's Seat, the Scottish Parliament, Royal Mile and Calton Hill are just short walk.

The guest suite is a real home from home - comfortable for up to three people. It is part of my home but is a private space. As I live in the same building, I am available if you need help or advice.
