Situated in a quiet nook just outside the ancient market town of Lanark (a Royal Burgh since 1140) you benefit from the lovely restaurants and shops on Lanark High Street and the UNESCO World Heritage site of New Lanark just 2 miles away. For a city experience Edinburgh and Glasgow are less than an hour away with excellent transport links. Who says you can't have it all?!

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds. There is a king size bed in the main bedroom and a sofa bed.

Detached Cottage situated in quiet picturesque Clydeside village, boasting private decking with Hot Tub. Ivy Cottage is the perfect cosy retreat for unwinding and enjoying beautiful countryside. Loch Lomond is a 15 minute drive and easily accessed by train (train station is 2 minutes from our Cottage) with direct routes to Glasgow (20 minutes). Located 10 minutes taxi drive from Glasgow airport. Property is for adults over 18 only. Hot-tub not suitable for children.

Yewtree Cottage - 'The Art House' and Garden

Just outside the Scottish National Park and 6mins walk from the sea is Cedarbank Studio's Yewtree Cottage. A one bedroomed cottage full of art. We have seven artists and they all offer lessons. Sitting in its own garden, Yewtree offers more than just an Airbnb experience. It's an opportunity to get outside and enjoy Argyll, learn something new or just do your own thing. It's a cosy little base - which we hope you'll enjoy calling home while you visit Argyll.​

Pentland Hills cottage hideaway

A cute wee historic cottage in the Pentland Hills with magnificent views. This home is one of the few properties inside the Pentland Hills regional park. 30 minutes outside of Edinburgh. Harperrig Reservoir is at your door where you can swim and paddle. Endless walks in the Pentlands. Surrounded by farmland. Sit in the hot tub of an evening and watch the colours change in the hills as the sun sets. And wake in the morning to Nespresso coffee.

The Wash House: a Cosy Romantic Countryside Escape

The Wash House is a beautiful, cosy cottage adjacent to a charming Schoolhouse built in 1857. This space was once the schools laundry facility. Character has been retained in this beautiful modern space. Our little slice of paradise is at the gate way to the highlands and 5 minutes from doune ( for those Outlander fans). It is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding area or even as a stop over on route to the highlands.

Enjoy Oakdene Cottage and its great views with hosts next door. Dog friendly with nearly an acre of established garden and space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area whilst being relatively close to Glasgow with good connections and only ~50 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Please bear in mind that there are steps up to up access the cottage from either door: thus, if you have reduced mobility, sadly, Oakdene may not be for you.

This traditional 18th-century detached gatehouse is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It offers an ideal holiday base to relax or explore the surrounding area. Situated close to the city of Glasgow, Peel Lodge is only 20 mins by train from the city centre, 30 miles away is Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Ayrshire. Edinburgh and Stirling can be reached in an hour. Shop, pub/restaurant 1 mile.

This charming three‑bedroom retreat features thoughtful interiors and panoramic views stretching across Glasgow.

A traditional Scottish cottage, tastefully modernised, sitting 850ft above Ayrshire at the end of its own farm track. Complete peace and quiet with no traffic and no light pollution. A spacious and charming country cottage in a quiet setting close to the Campsie fells. The cottage is situated on a working farm and offers beautiful views of rural farmland. There is a garden area with lawn and decking. A Rayburn in the kitchen and a wood burning stove in the living room make for cosy nights in during the Scottish winter.
