We had a wonderful stay here and cannot wait to come back! Jennifer is amazing as a host, quick responses and so helpful. She gave us a list of things we could whilst we were there which was so helpful. The apartment is so cosy and was spotless when we arrived. The holiday village is fantastic for kids. The swimming pool is easy to book online and the playroom is great for the younger ones. The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but we were able to cook in the apartment, each evening. The double air fryer was super handy! We loved this place and genuinely cannot wait for another visit.

Ian’s place was stunning in every aspect from the cleanliness right down to the location. This Air BnB is a real gem and perfect for exploring The Lake District. Ian is a good host who answered all of our questions. We loved it so much we booked an extra night. Would highly recommend a stay in this Air BnB, we will definitely return.

Just returned from a three day stay at Michael's place. It was fabulous, great communication from Michael, the apartment was spotless ,easy check in, very quiet beautiful setting. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Very convenient for all areas, great walks. Lots of eating places nearby. Swimming pool was a bonus! Would definitely recommend Michael's place. We will go back again !

What a lovely peaceful getaway this was! I had booked this for me and my boyfriend and it was amazing, we had originally booked for 2 nights and decided that just wasn’t enough so booked another night when we were there. It is around 10/15 mins from villages/towns so very peaceful no noise. The Galloway cabins were spotless and clean when arrived. Hosts replied within a good amount of time when questions were asked and Lorraine was really helpful when we had booked another night. Would really recommend this place and would love to visit again.

A very comfortable, pleasant and well maintained apartment in the centre of attractive village. It was light inside, quiet with shops conveniently close. Unfortunately we did not have time to try the pub directly opposite. Kerry was communicative host and extra helpful (the fridge does not have a freezer compartment and Kerry collected and returned our freezer blocks). We would certainly recommend and return ourselves.

Such a gorgeous stay at Jerrys place! We loved the location - easy access to lots of the Lake District. Decorated lovely and a home away from home feel. Staff on site were lovely, and Jerry was really helpful with any questions we had - responded quickly. Thanks for a lovely stay! We’ll be back!

Lovely two bedroom apartment. Warm & comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the rural location and setting. Plenty of parking and electric charging point also very useful. Great communication prior to our stay. Highly recommended for a stay in the North Lakes area.

This was our first time in the Lake District and this house was perfect for the 4 of us. From the initial booking to our arrival we were kept informed and updated. The house was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was well equipped and the sofas were exceptionally comfortable. We had a fire which was easy to light and was very effective. The pub was excellent and we had a lovely afternoon in there. The Lake District is stunning and we will be back again. Thanks to Tony for the in person instructions on arrival this was over and above.

John and Dan were fantastic hosts, with great communication from booking all the way until we left. Very accommodating and anything we asked and responses within a minute or two when we messaged. The pictures don’t do the place justice in my opinion. It’s always a great feeling when you feel you are getting more than you thought..and that’s how we felt. The linen was amazing, they didn’t cut corners with the type of linen in all rooms. Each room had its own theme which gave a lovely experience. The garden and view of the woods and river was just lovely..really adds to the hot tub experience. Overall, I highly recommend this place and I cannot fault the hosts on anything..thanks John and Dan

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Orroland. The house itself was beautiful - spacious, comfortable, and full of character - but the surrounding scenery truly stole the show. The views were absolutely stunning, and it was the perfect peaceful escape for our family. Melinda was fantastic - extremely attentive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything feel seamless and relaxed. The only slight hiccup was that our adventurous spaniel still managed to find a way to escape, despite the fencing - but that’s more a testament to her determination than anything else! Overall, it was an amazing stay and we’re already thinking about when we can return. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with family.

Lovely cottage in a great location next to the river and linked close to the high street and facilities. The property is newly furnished, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It was also well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed our stay in Cockermouth which is a great place for a visit.

Our experience at this property in Scotland was wonderful from start to finish. The booking process was straightforward, and our reservation was confirmed almost immediately, making everything effortless. Arriving at the property, however, turned into quite an adventure. We arrived in the evening amid heavy rain, with visibility low, and had to navigate a few remaining potholes along the way (though most had been filled in). Thankfully, we managed to find the key safe, unload our luggage, and settle in for the night. The next morning was a completely different scene. We woke up to clear skies and stunning views across the bay from both the bedroom and the lounge—it was breathtaking. Our first instinct was to get dressed and head straight to the beach for a morning walk, which was the perfect way to start the day. Inside, the house is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, with attention to detail everywhere. Premium shower gels were stocked in the bathrooms—a thoughtful touch

This house was a perfect, restful home for the long weekend for me and my friends! After long days out walking, the kitchen and living room space were spacious and cosy, perfect to unwind whilst being a great social space. The rooms were all spotless and very tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfy and the black out blinds were a bonus! The garden and hot tub was the icing on the cake. We would definitely come back!

A fantastic break in this beautiful spacious lodge ‘Screel View’ with amazing views - fog aside! We really appreciated the festive touches as well the unexpected welcome treats - thank you Barabara. We loved the location and the local area. We needed the car to get our elders out and about yet there were plenty of ‘from the door walks’ for me and my husband. Lovely cafe with views The Ark in Kippford. A wonderful stay. Great communication from booking through to departure. I knew I could get a speedy response to any enquiry. Thank you so much for letting us stay, it was beautiful. Completely wheelchair accessible and done so it didn't feel like it. Had a luxury feeling so felt like a real break, even saw a red squirrel and a hare in the garden. Will definitely be back again!

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Karen’s place is the most beautiful room we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. Gorgeously decorated - even the bathroom is beautiful. Great shower, very comfy bed, and Karen is super sweet and helpful. Highly recommend Karen’s place.

The loft apartment at Bowness House Farm exceeded our expectations- in fact the whole courtyard complex did. The apartment was beautifully styled and thought through with an excellent kitchen area, spacious en-suite, very comfortable sitting area and bed. We loved the details and finish- in fact I wish we’d been staying for a week rather than one night. Michelle, the manager, was welcoming and helpful. She also cooked our delicious breakfast this morning. The restaurant is full of warmth and character and we loved the inspirational sayings from 20th century icons ( including Nelson Mandela, Bob Marley and Stephen Hawking), the sparkling lights and the general ambience. We also throughly enjoyed our evening meal there. This was such a beautiful place I’d cycle the 150 miles back just to stay again !
