we very much enjoyed our stay at rachel’s. it was so nice to be right on the water, look at and listen to the waves, and watch the birds fishing. the house was very comfortable—more than enough room for the two of us. we liked having a fire in the fireplace and in the outdoor pit. and we saw some excellent fossils in the big rocks on the beach! rachel and shelly are exceedingly responsive to any questions or queries. if you ever have an issue, they will do their best to resolve it. we would happily stay at this house again!

This was an amazing location and beautiful home. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond. We had to cut our time short due to family emergency and left a whole suitcase behind and they shipped it back to us. Will definitely be back.

This isnt your standard BnB. House is super clean and fully stocked with all your necessities. For someone like me who forgets something, Dana has you covered!! Very very friendly place! Our new #1 favorite!

This place was delightful , very comfortable, beautiful surroundings, right on Lake Michigan with all the comforts of home. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Bathrooms very clean. Plenty of space and room. Overall it was very clean and tidy too. The location is close to towns and places for whatever you want to do such as shopping or getting into a nature park and trail. I was there in the fall and the colors were fantastic but this is a great place for any season.

Excellent stay and time spent with family. This served our purposes. The house had many extras including the use of a grill, a fully stocked kitchen, extra t-p & paper towels and clean bedding and towels. We enjoyed the view (on the non-foggy days), and wished that it wasn’t winter, so that we could have gone out on the canoes/kayaks. Luke and Giza’s place is a great location, and nice and comfy. We felt right at home and if the opportunity arose we’d stay here again!

Our family vacation was absolutely what we wanted on Washington Island, and especially at Essa's home! We wanted a quiet, relaxing place, and we definitely got that. We seriously felt like we were on a secluded island....didn't see one person until we drove to the other side of the island! If you are looking for a place to get away from the everyday hustle of life, Essa's place is where it's at. We got up in the mornings and had coffee and read on the 4 season's porch, sat on the beach, played games, watched movies, and had bonfires in the evening. The only bad thing....the week went to quickly!!!!

What a beautiful place and location. It was perfect for our trip. Easy ride into Green Bay to watch the game and such a quiet area. The Lake was great to look at through the glass doors. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and will book again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Sturgeon Bay and Benjamin's Airbnb. The house is extremely clean and pretty and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-equipped. The views and sunsets were fantastic! The house is in a great location. We toured the peninsula each day and found it easy to get where we wanted to go from the Airbnb. We were able to get out on the water in the kayaks, enjoyed a fabulous fire in the fire pit and had fun watching the avian visitors at the feeder. Benjamin promptly answered all of our questions and gave us great recommendations when we asked. This was our first visit to Door County and we had a great experience. We'll visit again and agree that we would love to stay at Ben's house again.

Thank you Dan and Beth for offering your place. It was the perfect getaway for us during some difficult times. The view did not disappoint. Your place was warm and comfortable with more amenities than the two of us could possibly take advantage of (this trip). I would love to book again and bring our young family with two grandchildren. Perfect in so many ways. Anything and everything we could want was an easy drive. We cooked in a few nights and just enjoyed looking out onto the water. The morning sunrises were breathtaking. Perfect little getaway, hideaway. Thank you.

The lot and outdoor space are really beautiful and peaceful - stunning view of the water from the living room and kitchen area. Beds and pillows were comfortable and lots of extra soft, cozy blankets. Kitchen had what we needed to cook meals. Lovely to relax in the hot tub watching the birds along the shore. It is smaller - only two people can comfortably fit, which worked fine for us. We had to use bath towels for the hot tub, but I suspect there might be extra amenities like extra towels and patio furniture out when the weather is warmer. It was still quite cool with sporadic snow when we visited in March. The Adirondacks by the shore were perfect for bundling up to watch sunsets though. Check-in and out went smoothly and the host was responsive and communicated with me through the whole process.

It was just the best. Out of all the places my friends and I have stayed at, this one is numero uno.. Everything that was in the description met or exceeded our expectations. The host was very accommodating with the listed facilities. I really hope to come back here and enjoy the great views again. Preferably not during spring time because there were a bunch of bugs everywhere

We had no issues finding the house or getting in and we had very quick responses to our questions and concerns.

Great home on Sand Bay. We went during the winter to go ice fishing. Plenty of room for all of our group, ample parking. Close to Sturgeon Bay for restaurants and bars. Great value.

Kevin and Christie were great hosts. We really enjoyed the location and being able to watch the tugs go through the channel. House had everything we needed for a quiet family getaway. Thanks for sharing it with us!

The home was right on the lake as Robert and Marina mentioned with such beautiful and peaceful views. It was easy to get to and access the home, off one of the main streets past some beautiful homes. The place was clean, comfortable and just what we wanted for a long weekend away. The place was spacious for two of us and had all the amenities we needed. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to spend time in Sturgeon Bay and Door County.

We had an amazing stay for the 4th. The highlight of the home was the location in Sturgeon Bay. It was a quick drive into town for great restaurants and shops. We rented kayaks and were able to easily launch into the water (be sure to bring water shoes). The lawn and garden were beautifully maintained. The deck and adirondack chairs made sunsets around the fire pit ideal. The home was very clean and the beautiful kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommend!

Our stay was so enjoyable. The space accommodated our family of 5 (three kids under 6) well. It was so fun to explore the area and we loved playing on the waterfront. The amenities were top notch and convenient. We cooked quite a few meals in the kitchen, played in the yard, relaxed in the living room after exploring. We are excited to come back!

We were looking for a nice house for our group for the weekend for a birthday celebration that was close to wineries and gift shops. We found that with this listing! Plus we were right next to the beach! The house was roomy and had lots of outdoor space. The amenities were awesome and the kitchen was fully stocked with seasonings and cooking supplies! The sunrises were amazing!

Very cute stay in Sturgeon Bay, our 12 year old loved fishing off the dock at every opportunity. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch overlooking the canal. It’s out of the way of the busiest tourist stuff so it was pleasantly quiet, but still within easy driving to attractions and other little towns on the peninsula. Shaun was a great host and had cookies from a local bakery waiting for us at check in! Would happily stay here again.

Twin Peaks was a lovely setting, right by the bay, have your own private beach and large back yard with a fire pit. It had a screened porch and outside deck. Inside, there were 2 living room areas that could accommodate large groups well. The kitchen was well stocked. 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were roomy. Being a bit unfamiliar with Door County, it was further from the small towns (Sister Bay, Fish Creek & Ephraim) than we anticipated but it was an easy drive to these locations. During the season, Twin Peaks is a great site for a family vacation/reunion!!

David's cottage is great and accommodates a large group well (we had 12). It is very comfortable and well equipped. We had a couple disappointments, and this was no fault to David and Debra. There is no smoking on the property and it is listed plainly in the House Rules, but I did not check that before booking because I don't smoke or have pets. However, we did have 2 smokers in our party and they had to leave the property every time they smoked. Another was we were not able to use the fire pit because of a fire ban in the area. Some nice surprises were cherry pie and apple cider donuts! I would highly recommend, just read the house rules (including parking) before you book.

Comfortable area to relax at night with my family with plenty of room and nice furniture. Great sleeping spaces and good size bedrooms. Big yard that was designed well for games and outside play, these were also available. We were out adventuring during the day but enjoyed coming home to relax and enjoy the evening.
