Set in almost a rain forest among beautiful gardens with an abundance of wildlife. You are a 5 minute walk to McCarthys Lookout and a 5 minute drive from Mary Cairncross Reserve. 5 minutes in the other direction to Maleny Village with the wonderful shops and cafes. Parking is under cover and next to the cabin through automatic gates. The only sounds you will hear are the birds. Minimum stay is 2 nights, but if you are looking for one night please get in touch. Wild Duck Farm - The Cabin

Located on 35 acres of rainforest and farm land with cattle, horses, chooks, ducks and plenty of wildlife. The Cabin is a luxury standalone 1 bedroom house overlooking the dam, the island and the horse paddock. It is air-conditioned, beautifully appointed and totally private boasting a stone bath on the deck, an inside fireplace and an outside fire pit. The cabin and gardens are surrounded by a dog proof fence so your furry friend will be free to roam safely, both inside and out.

You have the ground floor all to yourself in a 2 storey house. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful hinterland town of Maleny and 15 minutes to the popular Australia Zoo or 30 minutes to the beaches at Caloundra. Children are welcome and we provide a high chair, a safety bed rail and a port a cot, if needed. Your dog (no XL dogs like Sait Bernard’s etc.)is welcome. There is a fenced yard. Our own dog is kept upstairs.
