The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was a rainy weekend but with the hot tub, games to play, available books and plenty of natural light- it didn’t feel dreary. We commented a few times on how quiet and comfortable the space was for us. We took advantage of the local recommendations for food, wine and beer tastings and enjoyed it all! There was a guest log book and the recs from other guests helped guide us also. We went there to reconnect and spend time with each other for an early anniversary trip. (17 years next month) and we got exactly what we wanted! The hosts were attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay there again! But now I also need to buy a Blackstone grill and hot tub for home. 😂

Highly recommend if your solo and just need a short but quiet getaway and the hot tub and farm animals and chickens and roosters are a plus

We had a wonderful girl’s weekend at Shelly’s listing! It was cozy and inviting, and we all felt very relaxed and welcome. The pictures did not do this cabin justice! The cabin was beautiful and decorated for the holidays which is always so special! We had to book this listing last minute after we found out hours before check-in of another listing that the host double-booked us. Shelly was very quick to respond when I reached out last minute and saved the day. I’d love to go back with my family and spend the holidays here!

Super clean space that had everything we needed. Even with the main house close it still felt private with the entrance and hot tub facing the field. Communication was easy and everything went smoothly!

You will want to book this place if you are in the area for hiking, wineries, lake activities, anything really! That's because it's in the perfect location and, at the same time, you'll feel like you have your own private retreat because the cabin is set back from the road with peaceful surroundings. The enclosed porch with hot tub put it over the top - don't hesitate to book, hosts were great and even let me check in early!

This cozy cabin was the perfect winter break getaway for our family. We loved the fireplace, loft area/game room, and hot tub. The beds were very comfortable and there is lots of nature/outdoor activities to enjoy nearby as well as being close to a town with grocery store, restaurants, and other stores.

We have stayed at this home twice. And this stay was even more elevated than the last. We loved the little changes that were added year over year. Can’t wait to return!

Went for my boyfriends birthday. Will definitely be back such a cozy cute cabin! The hot tub was amazing such a peaceful getaway!

We got to see at least 5 deer in the back yard. The weather wasn’t great for to get and go hiking. The only thing that was lacking was games to play inside when the weather was bad. We did enjoy the peace and quiet. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

This is a cute little place. Very clean, bright and open layout. Comfortable beds. Love the outdoor area with the creek flowing in the background. Simple and easy to find. Very peaceful and relaxing away from the cities.

I went to Joe's cabin for a weekend getaway to clear my mind. You couldn't find a better spot to do that. The cabin is on nearly 200 walkable acres. There is electricity if you wanted to use the lamp (like me) to read a book, journal your thoughts, etc. Though I didn't make use of it - the outdoor cooking space was spacious and accessible. There are plenty of outhouses for doing your business. And the walking paths are serene. If you're in the need to clear your head, but be close to a nice town (Ithaca is less than 30 minutes away) - book!

This is was our 3rd or 4th time back to the crows next. As usual it did not disappoint! Our weekend was full of family time around the camp fire , fishing in the pond and hiking through the woods. We never want to leave when it’s time to check out. We will be back again!

This stay was excellent. It sits just outside NY state environmental conservation land so it's very private. The cabin was well appointed and has everything you'd need to make your stay as easy as possible. Full set of pots, pans, cooking, and kitchen utensils. There is a nearby beef farm where you can purchase some excellent American bred beef. There is plenty of natural light and living space. Beautiful natural surroundings for nature watching. Perfect spot for a romantic get away!

Well maintained and clean great for the outdoor enthusiasts with lots to do and see.

Great place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. Everything we wanted to do was 10-15 minutes away.

My family and I had a great time staying at the cabin! The space was beautiful and cozy with plenty of space for the four of us. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, and I took a luxurious bubble bath in the claw foot tub. It can be a bit dim at night, so I recommend bringing a reading light if you plan to read in the main living space in the evening. Overall, Jill & Al's space was perfect for enjoying nature and some much-needed down time.

J's rustic cabin is a wonderful spot in the woods. The view of the forest behind the cabin is so peaceful whether it's by the fire or from the screened porch. This place makes for a great weekend escape if you love nature and want some peace and quiet. The surrounding area is as beautiful as you might expect from the finger lakes and you're close to Watkins Glen & Ithaca. J was proactive and helpful. The cabin was stocked more than we even expected, particularly the cook ware & stove setup which was great. I would definitely return.

This is the perfect stay for hiking nearby state parks of New York and winery hopping on the wine trail! Amber’s cabin was clean, cozy, and a great location for everything we wanted to do. Although the cabin does have limited amenities, the bed was comfy to sleep in and the mini-fridge was a savior! We used the bonfire outside, which did have chairs provided, and it was so peaceful and homey. Both of us felt very safe and secluded in this cabin. The walk to the bathroom/shower is short and clean! Both Watkins Glen and Buttermilk State Parks are a 30 minute drive and Taughannock State Park is a 15 minute drive from this spot. There are TONS of wineries anywhere from 5-30 minutes away, which is perfect for hopping! Amber was a great host because she was responsive and provided us first timers to the finger lakes some recommendations that we tried and were not disappointed in! Overall, we highly recommend Amber and her cabin. If we ever go back, we would definitely stay here again! :)

Our stay at Jan’s place was phenomenal! Being that our family resides in the city, this was the PERFECT place for us to get away and have some peace and tranquility away from the chaotic day to day. The scenery was beautiful and amazing to take in—being that you are on top of the mountain, you get the best views. The cabin was extremely cozy and well equipped with everything we needed. Most importantly, Jan was very friendly and responsive and answered any questions or concerns efficiently. She also ensured that we had an easy check in and made sure everything was smooth sailing. My family and I made great memories and will definitely be coming back to stay at her wonderful cabin!

Wonderful stay with beautiful views of the lake! We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evenings while watching the sun set. Hosts were extremely helpful and responded promptly to any needs. Would love to stay again in the future!

Spent 1 night at the cabin for the 2nd weekend In a row. We were booked for 2 nights but our plans changed and we weren’t able to stay the 2nd night. James and Cheryl graciously offered us a discount on our next trip to compensate us a bit for leaving early. Good faith offer for sure! Won’t hesitate to stay again in the future!!!
