Wir haben von Marsha alle nötigen Angaben und Unterlagen erhalten. Sie hat uns zu einer Führung durch ihr Haus eingeladen und viel persönliches von sich und dem Haus erzählt. Wenn man in Natchez weilt, sollte man einen Aufenthalt bei Marsha unbedingt in Betracht ziehen.

This is my second visit to Darbys Place. It's beautiful and peaceful surroundings is perfect. The lake house will exceed your expectations. My family always feels right at home. I highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed! Can't wait to visit again.

We had a great stay at Jaki’s house. It is just beautiful and so well done. Everything was spotless and comfortable, and the instructions for check-in/out were very clear. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to many of the attractions we were interested in. We will definitely recommend it to our family and friends, and would love to stay there again.

We were looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway in the woods, and we certainly found it here. The cabin was cozy with enough cookware and utensils to prepare meals. The bedding was clean and comfortable. My favorite thing was having a cup of coffee on the back deck that looks out to the pond and all I heard was bird song. The backyard is large with plenty of space for a pet or kids to play. I recommend a good bug spray because there is plenty of nature out here. Our host was very responsive and courteous. The description of the property was accurate and helpful, especially regarding the road and driveway. We had no problems in our family SUV. It was about a 20 minute drive back into town. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some simple relaxation.

We loved The Forest Retreat. Great place in nature, in the middle of the forest with paths to hike, and creek/river access there on the property. No internet and limited phone access gave us a wonderful opportunity to unplug, unwind, reconnect, and recharge. We had an incredibly peaceful experience there. Bess is lovely, and provides excellent instructions and suggestions with a humorous flair. She is there to help when needed. We literally got home from our trip to the forest retreat, and rebooked for next year at the same time…hoping to make it an annual Happy Anniversary trip to us! Thanks Bess for offering this wonderful space in nature during a time in the world where so much seems crazy and chaotic! We highly recommend this spot to those who love nature, and quiet, and time reconnecting with yourself and others.

I booked one night last minute to get out of town with my family and I'm so happy I did. Ken was incredibly responsive and helpful. He even let us check in early and offered for us to stay later. This place was a treasure. The pictures don't do it justice. The cabin itself felt really spacious and had a wonderful aesthetic but the property is what I really loved though. Ken has done an amazing job setting up the landscaping with different areas to hang out and enjoy the beauty of the woods. There's even a working outhouse! My kids were with me and they loved the playground and the above ground pool. Ken has a lot of land that you can walk through. I asked about hiking nearby when we got there and he came over to greet us and tell us about the trails on his property. My kids loved checking out the deer stands. It can take a while to get anywhere on the road to/from the cabin, but it's fun to drive on! Thanks for a great, quick stay. We'd love to come back for a longer getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Suzy and Danny were overly accommodating and kind. They communicated and never hesitated or made us feel like a burden. The cabin is wonderful! It smells like Heaven and felt so warm and inviting. They have everything you could possibly need and the convenience store a few miles away in Nebo has anything else you forgot and not expensive! Including fishing supplies! We enjoyed being able to use the golf cart and the outdoor fire pit. The fish weren’t cooperating very much this time BUT thats beyond human control. We can’t wait to book again! We really could have moved right in! If this place is available for your next trip do not hesitate to book!!

This house was beautiful and well kept. Norma, the host was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We had a party of 7 staying at Ellens place and we really enjoyed our time in Natchez. There were several resturants that were within walking distance, I would highly recommend Frankie's on Main, The Little Easy, and The Natchez Brewing Company. The house was as described, decorated with all kind of funky fun trinkets, and the bed linens are HIGH END quality. Overall the house was a great fit for us, centrally located and very accomodating. The only thing I would want others to consider when booking is, if stairs arent for you, this property may not be a good fit for you, and the house sleeps 8 with 2 bathrooms, the master down stairs acts as the main floor bathroom and shower for master, and the upstairs bathroom unfortunately has to serve the remaining 6 guest. Outside of that the house was exactly as advertised and a very enjoyable.
