We had a fantastic few days at Holly Cottage, they really have thought of everything! Instruction videos, chargers by the beds, lovely welcome tray of goodies and wine. The cottage is so tranquil with loads to do nearby. We highly recommend the museum quarter and the fruit market area in Hull as well The Deep and Beverley. The garden and hot tub are also great. A few people had mentioned rules in the reviews but they were all just sensible advice and common sense and not an issue whatsoever. We loved our stay and will be back, thanks so much for a lovely break ⭐

Fantastic experience from start to end. Booking was super easy, we made some amends and Lia was responsive. Had questions pre-arrival, great communication. Pre-arrival instructions were thorough and really clear. So easy to just get in and get sorted. The place itself is fantastic, knew it looked fab but in real-life it was so worth it. Absolutely brilliantly laid out property, perfectly thought through. Good size rooms, and flexibility that we could bring an airbed to use the 4th room for an adult, opposed to a toddler. Good variety of kitchen equipment and utensils. As opposed to some places you stay where it's white walls, no personality. This place is oozing with personality. It's clearly semi-lived in, but still free from clutter and thought through things like a guest fridge and a resident fridge for instance. The garden is stunning and it's so quiet. Hot tub is also a wonderful edition. The chickens also just sum up what this place is. Thank you - will definitely be back!

Loved it here, a real home from home for us and perfect for exploring both York and further north. We loved the fact it was homely and rural, and the hot tub was a real treat. The only tiny downside was the oven is old and took a while to cook on, but we ate out too so not a massive problem. Just what we were after, thank you!

Just back from the most relaxing weekend we’ve had for a long time. Gemma’s cottage is beautiful. It’s clean, modern and has everything you could ask for. We visited the pub opposite for meals and everyone was so friendly. We just loved our time there! Gemma is a great host, she is responsive and so kind. When we’ve stopped in other places the rules what you can and can’t do are sometimes quite off putting (I understand it’s your home and you want everyone to respect it though) Gemma is so laid back and this I think makes you respect the space and house more (well id like to think most people are the same as us) so we felt very relaxed. The hot tub is great and amenities. We are definitely coming back for another relaxing weekend. Thank you Gemma xx

We had a fab 2 night stay at Scarlett’s place! The cottage itself was lovely and cosy , had everything we needed and was clean! The bed was extremely comfortable! The hot tub was great it was really nice to enjoy our anniversary weekend away! We were able to order a take away through just eat on our first night and then ate food at the travellers rest on the Sunday and Arthur’s for breakfast today! Scarlett was a great host and even messaged early to say we could check in! Will definitely return 😊

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

We had such a cosy and relaxing stay at The Nook. The hot tub was a treat, but what truly made it special was the cinema room—we spent our evenings introducing our kids to our favourite films, and it was such a lovely way to bond as a family. The whole place was full of thoughtful, personal touches that made it feel extra welcoming, and the generous welcome hamper was unlike anything we've ever had before. A perfect little getaway spot—we’d absolutely love to return!

a fantastic little place with plenty to do in the village or neighbouring towns, lots of lovely little touches made it feel really well thought through and not a "standard air BnB" at all - fresh coffee, different teas, dressing gowns, welcome drinks, and plenty of logs for the log fired hot tub which we took advantage of every night of our stay. Also one of the increasingly rare places with a host confident enough not to leave lots of "please do this don't do this" type notes which helped us feel like we were at home really quickly.

Beautiful little cottage - perfect place to stay for an adventure in the Peak District! Also great for dogs with baby gates installed to keep them downstairs, it’s lovely to have these things already in place!

loved Karens place! beutifull old barn with a modern interior. everything you would need for a comfortable stay. we particular liked the log stove made the room really cosy not that you needed it as the central heating was on. gorgeous views from the patio doors. also everything was spotlessly clean. also the lovely hamper karen left with lots of goodies in . definatly top of our list of Air b&b places to stay.

We loved Chimney Cottage, in a lovely, quiet area with a great pub nearby. Good walk into Holmefirth but definitely worth it. Beautifully renovated cottage with everything you need for a nice relaxing break. Thank you very much

We had a lovely 4 nights stay at the cottage with our two dogs. The cottage was clean and we had everything we would need for our stay, including wood for the log burner. The enclosed garden was a nice place to sit and enjoy wonderful views and to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Castleton is only a 15min walk along a footpath from the rear of the cottage and there are plenty of places to eat and drink in the village. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended 👌

Beautifully renovated with great detail to warmth and comfort. Fantastic location if you just want to plant yourself and not get in the car again. Endless walks out from the front door. Drop dead gorgeous location high on the hillside at the end of a track.

Spotless residence, as described, quiet and relaxing, away from bustle of York but a short drive to all excursions. Clean, plenty of cutlery, cleaning products and hand washes. Lovely surprise to be welcomed by fresh scones, with clotted cream and jam.

Another lovely stay at Tracey’s place ❤️ This is our 4th year coming x As soon as we walk in the door the cottage gives you a big welcoming hug , Tracey goes the extra mile with a warm welcoming personal card a basket of goodies and beer and milk in the fridge along with tea coffee etc etc x you can just walk in and sit down enjoy that incredible view with a brew or beer , even Otis ( our Frenchie ) is so relaxed here , the neighbours are so friendly and have a warm smile and chat , I cannot recommend this place enough we absolutely love coming ❤️ Tracey is a great host and has a beautiful little gem in the heart of Yorkshire I am so happy we found this place Thank you Tracey Lots of love Tracey Wayne and Otis ❤️🐾❤️

Perfect little stopover, close to amenities, very picturesque village with some great dog walks on the nearby tracks. Thanks for the milk, urgently needed that cup of tea when we arrived. Richard is a friendly and reliable host with great communication. Thank you!

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

An absolute GEM of a place! Copper cottage is immaculately clean! Peggy has extensive knowledge of all the needs of differently abled people and there is plenty of room to move around with a wheelchair or walking stick in the cottage. The Christmas tree field was a bonus to view and walk around - really magical. Our dog loved the local walks and there are great dog friendly cafes etc, nearby. The garden is huge and my daughter enjoyed the swing! My only complaint is that I didn't book it for longer! Do not hesitate to book!

I had an amazing time staying here! Susan was a fantastic host—so warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She gave us a lovely tour of the place and made everything so easy with her clear directions. It was super simple to get there. One of the highlights was how thoughtful she was—she even gave my son some books to read, which he absolutely loved. I mentioned we were planning a picnic with family, and she kindly provided a picnic blanket for us! The area itself is beautiful—private, quiet, and peaceful. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of London, and we were finally able to get some proper rest. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Emma’s countryside home in Menethorpe, Marlon is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The location is truly picturesque, with a peaceful stream nearby and horses, sheep, and cows grazing in the surrounding fields. It’s the perfect base to explore the area — York is just a short drive away, and the lovely village of Malton is only 5 minutes down the road, offering great restaurants, shops, and pubs. The house itself is cozy, super safe, and very well furnished, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable family vacation. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Emma was a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re visiting this part of the country, this is a must-stay. Thank you, Emma — we’re already looking forward to returning!

What a find! Amazing place to stay. Not only is it a 5 star accommodation, it's a perfect place to explore the local area and has the best back garden I've ever experienced i.e. "The Himalayan Gardens & Sculptures". The accommodation itself was warm, cosy and spotlessly clean, plenty of space for two adults and two springer spaniels. We valued the entrance with it's stone floor to rub down our wet pups when arriving back after our adventures. With plenty of logs for the burner it added to the feeling of home from home. Everything supplied in the cottage is top class quality. The outside area included an enclosed patio which many need if they have dogs with them. We were there when the gardens were closed so it was quiet and such a treat to be able to walk around not sharing it with anyone else. We will be back and have already recommended the cottage to our friends and family. Thank you Will and Sophie

Anna always replied to any questions very fast. The cottage had all the amenities required. The cottage was nestled in the town centre, but you would not know it as it was so quiet. Loved it, if I was in the area again I would not hesitate in trying to book this again.

Great place to stay! Easy to get to via public transport and very near to the Main Street in Haworth. A great cosy space with amazing views from the garden. We had a great time!
