Hekla the volcano can be seen to the east and the glacer Langjökull to the northeast and panorama of other mountains. The house is located in the heart of the golden circle and is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding nature. Geysir, Gulfoss and Thingvellir national park are very close. If you have a suitable vehicle I would strongly recommend driving the road around the lake at Thingvellir - it’s amazing.

Great for outdoor hiking to amazing places and great dark spot in the winter for Northern Lights viewing. A 4x4 is important to access the house in the winter.
