Exactly what we needed

From the moment I arrived, this Airbnb exceeded all my expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could possibly need (and then some). The host clearly put a lot of thought into the little details—fresh towels and even a personalized welcome note. The bed and couch was incredibly comfortable, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. I’ve stayed at quite a few Airbnbs, but this one truly stood out for its warmth, charm, and overall comfort. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free experience!

The apartment was as described and within walking distance of several restaurants and Campus. We enjoyed our stay and the location of the apartment. We especially enjoyed the back porch/deck.

This was our 2nd time staying here. Great view & perfect location to ski/snowboard & never have to get back in your car until its time to leave. Great location & has everything you need for a trip. Thanks again for another great trip to sugar mountain resort!!

Denise was incredible! We found ourselves in another place owned by someone else and it was not quite what we expected and I spoke to Denise and she was able to accommodate us at 9:00 pm at night. She was unbelievably helpful! This house was absolutely perfect for a large group of adults and teens and the location to skiing was awesome!

We had an amazing stay at Robs Airbnb. My friends and I wanted a getaway for the weekend to spend time away from our routine and get some skiing in. The place was really clean and met all our expectations. Super spacious and lots of room for 8-9 people to sleep. Rob was also super responsive when we locked ourselves out, he immediately responded and helped us get back inside. Overall a fantastic experience.

This was an ideal house for our two families. The kids took over downstairs while the adults chilled upstairs. Very clean. Our house instructions indicated that neither the downstairs or upstairs fireplaces were working, but once we got there we could tell the upstairs one had been used before. Recommend updating those. We had a hard time getting the pilot lit but the host was very responsive and the homeowner actually came by to troubleshoot it. The only thing I wish was different was a king bed option. All of them are queens.

I am so overwhelmed with gratefulness for these wonderful hosts! Not only was the price of the home right in our budget, but from even before our stay everything was so well laid out and structured to make this experience so positive. We got the instructions for check in, days before we got there (which totally satisfies my slightly type A personality) so I was able to plan our trip. We arrived at the house and everything was clean. They had a great binder that gave the house guidelines and information, but they also included helpful resources with local amenities, and even marked off the ones that were heartbreakingly closed due to Helene. These little touches made it feel like we could have been staying with local loved ones rather than a rented home. While this was not a vacation for us- we are certainly keeping the information of this beautiful home for the future! It perfectly fit our family of 5. This was also our first AirBNB experience and I’m so relieved it was a good one!

Stayed here with some family and friends for a long weekend. Absolutely loved every second of this rental. Everyone kept bragging about the views and how there was enough room for everyone. Already prospecting staying here again next winter.

My family & I had a wonderful weekend stay. The girls loved the hot tub & the downstairs area.

Anne-Marie's place was absolutely perfect for our large group of 11 guys who were in town for a hike. There were more than enough beds to accommodate everyone and the linens were clean and comfortable. I was particularly amazed at how well-equipped the kitchen was. We have a chef in the group and he commented that he had never stayed at a rental that had as much in the kitchen as this house does. It was perfect for our gathering, a very short drive into Boone, and we got a lot of use out of the pool and poker table. We were there during March Madness and pre-loaded YouTube TV subscription was perfect for watching games while the fire roared next to it. 10/10 would stay here with a group again.

Booked last minute and host was extremely responsive and accommodating, giving thorough details about the check-in process. It was so beautiful to wake up to the mountains right out the window. Space was just as the pictures are, if not better. Cute, clean and cozy! I hope to stay again!

Scott did a great job and the unit was well appointed. The balcony was a nice morning option and have stocked coffee and sugar is always appreciated. Pro Tip: The lift outside the balcony is the top of a blue run so plan to drop off beginner skiers at the lodge to warm up. There is nothing like taking the last lift of the day all the way up this ski in ski out condo.

Katie was friendly and professional throughout the process. The condo was awesome, we stepped out with our ski eqpt and started skiing right at the top of the Oma slope. Will definitely come back for a repeat visit!

A beautiful, CLEAN & peaceful place to stay!

Definitely a cozy place to stay! Everything was clean and extra stuff were provided. The sofa bed was not as comfortable for older people like me or my friend, but the bed was a dream to sleep in cause our backs didn't hurt by morning! Amazing! And the view out the window is spectacular! We love the balcony which you get to see the summit of Sugar Mountain as well as the town to the north. Easy walk to the ski slope that we did for a day hike in April. The checkout is one of the most simplest to do. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone's trip to Sugar Mountain!

Greatvplace close to Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, and Banner Elk. The unit was very spacious and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Great property with lots of fun amenities! Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Joey’s place is the perfect spot to walk out your door and ski down to the base of Sugar Mountain. Great view of the slopes and a quick 10 minute drive to Food Lion, restaurants and Sugar Mountain. It snowed while we were there, but the road crew kept the drive up the hill passable. The pool/hot tub/sauna was also a great spot to take a break and warm up. Just a 5 minute walk to those amenities. Quick note…if you ski down at night during the week, don’t miss the last lift ride back up before 10p! We found a cab to give us a ride as the bus shuttle was only running on weekends. Definitely a great spot for a quick trip to enjoy the mountain and parking is right outside the front door. Highly recommended if you are looking for a cozy place.

Just took my young girls there for their first time skiing and it was a great experience! Ian was very responsive and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back! The views and accommodations were amazing!!
