Lynda is a brilliant host and had tea, coffee, milk and fruits ready for us before we arrived. The place was very clean and felt like home. Kids loved the place and the board games. The icing on the cake is the location as, it is next to Ocean edge. She responded promptly for any questions we had. We have enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return back if we visit surrounding places. Thank you very much for hosting us Lynda, we had a great time.

We had such a fabulous stay at Carole’s place in Warton. The lodge was immaculate and so well equipped with everything we needed. The location was quiet, private and set around a lovely small lake. 30 minute drive to Windermere and 15 minutes to Lancaster. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay and family New Year celebration 🥳 Frans place is relaxed and fun with a bohemian vibe. Lots of space. Truly Air B&B with a homely approach and everything you need. Great tips and instructions too. Its worth noting for larger groups and people :-) that there are three bedrooms, one with a double bed and ensuite (no door). This is the only shower. The other two rooms have pretty small doubles. There is a bath too, but hot water is limited. We made it work and had a wonderful time, but this may not be ideal for others.

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

A very comfortable and pleasant stay. Accommodation was spacious and clean. Conveniently located for the town centre. Only a short walk to some nice restaurants and bars. Would book again if coming to the area

Family of 4 stayed 3 nights in October 2024 and it was just what we needed. Had some beautiful long walks along the beach. The caravan was home from home, clean and cosy. It had everything you could want for cooking a simple breakfast to Sunday Roast. Clean and respectful surroundings around the park. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

Our family had a lovely stay at Burrowbank at the end of the summer holiday. The house is fantastic with all the facilities you could ask for. The kids loved the swings and most of all the pool, while the covered (heated) BBQ area meant evening meals outside watching the sunset. Great location and setting, very private and we would definitely come again and recommend to others. Martyn and Christine were very helpful and went the extra mile (even posting my daughter’s disposable camera that she left behind). Can’t think of any negatives and we made some great/happy memories.

Amazing stay for a 30th family celebration. The sun was shining so we spent most our time at the house on the terrace! Perfect location with the surrounding scenery. We had a slight issue with the hot tub room, due to previous guests. But this was quickly resolved! Can’t fault the hosts or the house. Would definitely love to return for another celebration in the future one day! Thanks again

Fabulous stay. We loved the house (which was accurately described). It was perfect for me and my family. We loved making breakfast and dinner in the huge kitchen. Would love to stay again when in the area.

Lovely little spot not far from beach and town centre with local spots to eat and drink nearby and great access for walking in the lakes Lovely accommodation with lovely huge bed, rainfall shower and the hot-tub was lovely Andrew always replied quickly and was very helpful

We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely family time at Kempton House. The location is great just 10 minutes walk to the Windermere pier. There are lots of restaurants around. Lovely decorations, stylish dining room and living room. It’s children friendly too. Georgie provides cot and a bucket of toys, which is very helpful to keep the kids busy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Nave House is a quirky cottage tucked away up a quiet side street just above the main thoroughfare of Kendal. It is made from a cross section of the nave of the former church which stands around the corner and which is now a converted house. Comprising four floors, it is perfect for visiting Kendal and the rest of the Lake District. The main supermarket is two minutes away and there is a great choice of eateries very close by. The rooms are necessarily small but adequate, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Perfect for us three adults.

This was my second visit to the house and even better than I remembered. A perfect place to come with my loved ones to celebrate turning 30. I can’t thank you enough for creating a home from home. We didn’t want to leave! I am sure I’ll be back again!

house was amazing and ideal for friends and family. the cul de sac was peaceful. Beach was very near and clean. Sara was very helpful when communicating for check in details etc. Excellent host and property.

An absolutely amazing place. We found ourselves at home and with all the convenient amenities required for a great holiday. Very spacious and situated in a perfect location. Above all, Brenda was simply amazing, taking time to explain everything and giving us excellent recommendations. She was so helpful and always contactable. We will certainly be returning to this beautiful cottage.

What an unbelievable stay in an enchanting, magical cottage! Wonderful garden with a hammock, hanging chairs and to top it off a hot tub to relax in. The Balinese inspired garden felt like you were abroad, the pictures of the garden don’t do it justice! Very cosy and comfortable inside the cottage as well, felt at ease as soon as we walked through the door. Had everything we needed and it was very Interesting reading the book showing the transformation of the cottage and how much work has gone into it! Would definitely return and also visit there other properties in the area! Thank you so much for an amazing stay☺️🥰

We absolutely loved this property for so many reasons. Location (so close to town centre), modern feel to home which we loved just as the pictures shown and absolutely immaculate in terms of cleanliness both inside and outside where we loved the privacy of the garden which is fully enclosed and ideal for the dogs. House situated just on the edge of a great park also.

We recently stayed at this beautiful Airbnb to celebrate my brother-in-law’s 30th birthday with the whole family, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice! The house itself is absolutely stunning – so spacious, stylish, and comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, just 10 minutes from the center where you’ll find all the shops and restaurants you could need. One of the highlights was the hot tub – it was HUGE! We were all amazed by its size and spent so much time relaxing in it. Another bonus was the view from the bedrooms, overlooking the horses and sheep. It made waking up in the morning feel extra special. We’ve already recommended this place to our friends and family and would love to return in the future. If you're looking for a place to relax, celebrate, and enjoy some peace and quiet without being too far from the action, this is definitely the spot!
