Barrow-in-Furness District: hotéis

Easily one of the best Air BnB we have stayed in. Beautiful surroundings, perfect base for hiking in the Lakes. Room & bathroom clean and comfortable. 10 min walk to pub, shop & chippy. Jean was lovely & very friendly, her playful dog was an added bonus along with the chickens wandering around. Will definitely return.

Honestly a perfect stay. Room faultless. Warm. Gorgeous bed and bedding. Fantastic shower. 20 min walk into Kendal town centre. Would def stay again!

Great place for a stay in Cumbria, close enough to the coast, hills and lakes to cover all needs. Lovely setting just on the river. Hosts were fab and couldn't do enough to accomodate. Very dog friendly and the pooch had a great time. Food was great and the bar well stocked. I would highly reccomend and will be happy to book again.

The hotel was exactly what we expected and hoped for - great location by the lake with boating & cafés, easy 10 minute walk into town and short drive to fabulous walks or we could even have done walks direct from the hotel. Checkin was friendly, the room was very comfortable and it was nice to have a bar in which to end an evening out.

My partner and I went here for his birthday, and it was better than expected! Everything was so easy and clean, and the host was so responsive. We will definitely be going back again. It’s located in the centre, so there are plenty of restaurants, pubs, etc., but it's not a party place. There wasn’t anything we could fault! Thank you so much, guys! You made my partners birthday!

Lovely place to stay if visiting Windermere or Bowness On Windermere!! Brittany was lovely and responded quickly to our messages. Check in was great and easy. The room was lovely and we will be returning!

The room was beautiful, with a lovely view out of the window of a garden. I was celebrating a birthday and my room had been decorated with rose petals and a card saying happy birthday. When we looked around we realised that some towels had not been provided so I called the number that they provided if there were any issues, and within 30 seconds someone had come upstairs and given me lots of warm towels as well as wished me a happy birthday. Checking in was easy and you get sent a message with lots of helpful information. It was hot weather when I stayed and there is a powerful fan in the room that did really well at cooling down the room. The entire building was lovely and clean and a pleasure to stay in.

If i am coming to Lake District again , I’ll definitely choose dozy deer again . It was so lovely , clean and cozy. It was nearby with the shops and the everything is accessible . They also provide something to grab at the pantry before we started our day and it was perfect 🤩 the room is suitable for family , it was very spacious and nice.

My son and I had a glorious break at Bank Ground Farm. The weather was typically Cumbrian, but we felt so at home this just enforced a much needed rest and down time. We were very comfortable, Jonathon and his staff were so friendly and accommodating, and our fabulous veggie breakfasts were the cherry on the cake. Thankyou so much guys, we'll be back!
