The accommodation was perfect for a city trip, conveniently located near public transport. This is a lovely and spacious home in a beautiful setting along the Potomac River. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck with our morning coffee or in the evening, watching the sun set or the deer along the river. Those views were also available in the spacious living room facing the deck. The kitchen was well appointed, which we always appreciate when cooking meals in and the beds and linens were nice and comfortable. There were games available in the closet and my adult kids enjoyed setting up and playing badminton on the back lawn. Sylvia was a wonderful host that communicated clearly and was very helpful. We will look forward to coming back some time in the future.

We rented out this place for easier access to DC and both an uber and car DC was only 27 minutes away (honestly is and felt shorter depending on traffic). It felt amazing to have such a large space and 2 washing machines/dryers. The rooms and bathrooms were very cozy and clean!

Check in wasn't a problem. Any issues that came up they responded in a timely fashion. Wifi, pots and pans and the fridge were on point. The bathroom was surprisingly warm which was an unexpected plus when it got colder. Everything else was fine.

This was the second time I stayed in this house and it is one of the very best houses I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in dozens). It feels completely like a family home and not at all like what is so common... an owner or manager who raced through Walmart with a shopping cart, grabbing everything from cheap furniture to bedding and kitchen ware! Also, a beautiful, quiet back yard with plenty of seating and a short walk to Rock Creek Park and the many miles of paved walking trails that it offers.

The apartment was amazing, we had a wonderful time staying there. It is close to everything, museums next streets, China Town, and very walkable, amazing restaurants and coffee shops. The whole building was nice and quiet, which was a plus. host was very nice and kind, communication was easy and proactive. We will definitely come back again~

This was our second family trip to DC where we stayed at this location. Wayne was the perfect host both times. He supplied us with tons of info leading up to the trip, secured our parking pass, and was super flexible with our late night arrival. He had food/drinks/snacks to start our week off, a clean and inviting space, and helpful signage posted in the apartment. He was helpful when we had to have a forgotten item mailed to us and continued to offer suggestions and help during our stay. The metro and bus stations are so close that all of DC is easily accessible. We even made a quick trip to Annapolis easily from this location. When we were looking to come back to DC, it was the fact that Wayne’s place was available that sealed the deal. He is an amazing host!

Great location for walking 💯 Nice spot, quiet street. Spothero is the way to go if you bring a car. Hosts gave us plenty of information to help. Thank you for a good stay.

Great place for visiting Washington DC. The location of the apartment is perfect. Everything is very clean and organized. The beds are very good, bathrooms are very clean. The apartment access is very well organized. Even if we arrived late I was able to get direct instructions from our host how to enter the building and the apartment - perfect logistics and organization - THANKS a lot!

The place was great for business or pleasure travel. Plenty of space, and very clean. Location was ideal as well, a couple blocks from a metro station. Would highly recommend.
