Victoria’s cottage was a beautiful escape from normal city life. My partner and our dog enjoyed our stay immensely over the early May bank holiday weekend. Victoria is a lovely host and very friendly, she gave us some recommendations for local walks we could take with our dog. This home was one of the best stocked AirBnBs I’ve ever stayed in. The aga oven kept the whole place a lovely temperature even despite the warm weather. I would love to return again for a longer stay.

We had a dreamy stay at the Ramblers Retreat, what a beautiful place. It was so peaceful to sit out and admire the view, the donkeys ( Holly and Lucy) made it even more special, they were great! All in all, it had everything we needed to relax and unwind!

A wonderful spacious place, full of light and very comfortable, we had a small family gathering and it was perfect, thoroughly recomended.

A lovely, clean, cosy and well equipped retreat perfect for a couple looking for a relaxing getaway. The view is stunning and we enjoyed the company of some fluffy sheep that wander the fields around the property. Simon gave us plenty of recommendations for things to do nearby and was very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for 3 nights over the May bank holiday, 4 adults, 3 children and a dog. We had a great start from start to finish. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. The host is super helpful but not over bearing. It was so peaceful and a truly unforgettable stay. Thank you Angela we will be back.

If you like to see Woodpeckers, Nuthatches and Jays feeding just outside the window and want to hear only the sound of birdsong and a babbling stream then this is the place for you. Okay, netflix, prime etc is available if you have an account with them via the smart tv, but why not turn off the tv and enjoy the serenity? The reviews say it all really - enchanting. The only negative (for some) may be the 15 min drive up the one track, steep and bending road, its not for the nervous driver, but once done, you get used to where the passing places are and it is all part of the adventure of staying in this beautiful part of the country.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Mary's place! The cottage is just as described and in a beautiful and peaceful location. All of the instructions Mary provided were easy to follow, and while we didn't meet in person, Mary was communicative and available if needs be. We hope to return again soon!
