The historic town of Menai Bridge (porthaethwy)on the Menai strait is full of amazing eateries and beautiful views and the home of Bangor uni's Ocean Sciences. These rooms are situated next to the Auckland Arms pub, well known for its relaxed cosmopolitan atmosphere and fabulous range of spirits, cocktails and beers. Frequented by locals and many visitors alike, some traveling far to 'chill' in this quirky little bar. No food is on offer but you can bring it in, they will even give you a plate!

Ideally located for exploring all that Snowdonia National Park has to offer, we provide a casual, friendly base to start your next adventure. A picturesque hotel nestled in the centre of Snowdonia National Park, Gwesty Cobdens is over 200 years old. We are currently engaged in the process of restoration and renovation work to return Gwesty Cobdens to its former glory as a premium example of a Victorian country hotel. During this ongoing renovation work we have a few en-suite rooms available.

We are ideally located for easy access the Snowdonia National Park, ideal for climbers, walkers, hikers, and those who love the outdoors, & various adventure activities are all within an easy drive. With private parking, and nearby access to public transport, beaches, town centers, quayside, traditional pubs, and restaurants, make it a perfect destination for your holiday.

Our house is conveniently situated for anyone wanting to take in the beauty of North Wales. Snowdonia National Park is only a few miles away, Snowdon mountain/railway is about 10 miles drive. Anglesey is just across the Menai Straits (a 20-30 minute walk to the bridge). Llandudno is only a 20 mile drive. Convenient for the A55, railway station, bus stops, University, hospital and the Ferry port at Holyhead. Bangor has many restaurants, bars and is only a 15 minute walk from the house.

The Venice Suite at Ffarm Country House

Ffarm Country House is a marvellous Grade II listed manor house dating from 1706. With many unusual architectural features inside and out the Ffarm has a wealth of character and charm. Now operated as a boutique hotel, the Ffarm has a total of 10 en-suite guest rooms of which the Venice Suite is the most spacious. Situated within 2 acres of private grounds in the quiet village of Betws-yn-Rhos it provides the perfect spot to base an exploration of the North Wales countryside.

It comes with a king-size bed or two single beds and can accommodate an additional single bed or cot. A second additional single bed or cot can be requested, subject to availability.

Twin bedroom with ensuite facilties in our Main Accommodation building. During your stay you will have full use of all communal areas - lounge, TV room and self catering kitchen. There is an on site bar bistro for meals and ample parking. Just a short stroll to the Blue Flag beach of Porth Dafarch and Anglesey Coastal Path making it ideal for all things outdoors. We also have a drying room and rinse area.
