The open plan kitchen and living space is an ideal living area, with another quiet sitting room on the first floor overlooking the gardens, our house being adjacent. With private access and delightful outside space , you are assured a friendly welcome and invited to discover and enjoy all the treasures North Yorkshire has to offer.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.

It sits in the Vale of York, between York and Harrogate with the Dales and Moors of North Yorkshire nearby. A super house for sociable evenings in; dinner by the log fire, a game of pool or drinks and table tennis on the patio during warmer months. Great local pubs and restaurants serving excellent food and a supermarket/shops a short drive away.

The Annexe is located in the pretty village of Great Ouseburn, 10 minutes from the market town of Boroughbridge and a 30 minute drive from both Harrogate and York. The Annexe offers excellent value for money. Comfortable, cosy and well equipped accommodation, everything you need for a relaxing stay for a couple of days or longer. Although it is linked to my home, It is self contained with its own entrance, giving guests their freedom and privacy.
