The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The Dairy is a quaint self-contained annex at the side of our detached property in the picturesque village of Tockington just north of Bristol. There is a bedroom on a mezzanine over an open plan living/dining/kitchen area and shower room. The accommodation is situation on the approach to the village, accessed from a private driveway with parking at the front. You have the use of a private veranda with views of the countryside and the opportunity to take in the village atmosphere.

Please note we have 2 dogs at the property. Self-contained studio apartment set in rural location but within easy distance of Aztec West, The Wave, and The Wild Place. Large bedroom, ensuite shower room and small lounge area with kitchenette and sofa bed or single put up bed. The Wave is approx. 1 km walk. The nearest bus stop is 1 mile away in the village so guests who are hoping to sight see will either need to be able to take on the walk to the village or have access to a car.
