LOVED this gem of a retreat. I mean how can you not love a sauna, kayak, hot tub, fire pit, and a spacious cabin that overlooks port moody. I wish I could stay for a month! And so cool, you take a boat to get to the cabin. I’ve been telling everyone at my work about this place!

This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Jane is incredibly warm and welcoming, and Steve is wonderfully humorous. What truly made the stay unforgettable, though, were their three adorable dogs—and even their neighbor’s big yellow dog, who is just as friendly! The dogs were so enthusiastic that they came to greet us before we even got out of the car. Parking was easy, and once we walked upstairs, we were amazed by how beautiful and unique the house was. From the entrance to the living room, the walls are decorated with all kinds of animal-themed ornaments—absolutely delightful. In the morning, we were even greeted by a parrot that says “hello”! The outdoor patio has a cozy gas fire pit for warmth, and in the yard, there’s a wooden cabin with an open-style hot tub and a TV—perfect for relaxing. This house doesn’t just keep you warm physically—it’s filled with warmth from the people, the animals, and the atmosphere. The bathroom was clean, fragrant, and decorate

I had a wonderful weekend stay at this charming cabin in Point Roberts. The cabin itself is very cute with modern, stylish decor that made it feel cozy and welcoming. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The internet worked perfectly, which was a great plus, but the real highlights were the outdoor amenities. I absolutely loved the hot tub – it was perfect for both peaceful mornings and relaxing evenings. The outdoor fireplace and seating area added such a beautiful and thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a peaceful, relaxing getaway and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This Airbnb was so great. It’s exactly what an Airbnb is supposed to be…. Lodging with all the comforts of home. The host was also very responsive and easy to talk to and answered all our questions. We were a group of 3 families with 4 kids all under the age of 3 and this was a perfect setup. The outdoor space is top notch! We will definitely be booking here again in the future.

It’s our second time in the Band House, and we fell in love with the place even more. Garth and Jen are super friendly and accommodating. We reached out to inquire about availability and they were kind enough to open the dates for us, since we’ve been there before. The place itself is incredibly peaceful. Our dogs love it, and a morning walk around the property with a coffee in hand is exactly what you need if you want to get away from the stress of the city. We loved seeing Cooper (the dog) again too! What a super chill and friendly dog, even if ours were barking at poor Cooper. The hot tubs are a highlight too! We really want to make our visits more frequent, as I now consider this my happy place away from home. Can’t wait to get married there as well! Ask them about the option if you have the chance to visit.

Ons verblijf was fantastisch! We hebben heerlijk genoten van de plek om tot rust te komen en genieten van de de prachtige natuur en te relaxen met het comfort van een heerlijke hottub met uitzicht op de zonsondergang. Alles was aanwezig. Spelletjes, een complete keuken, badkamer, gezellige houtkachel. We komen graag weer eens terug, maar dan iets langer.

Great location. Away from the highway and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, a short 1km walk, drive or bike to the public beach or local wooded area to take the dog for a morning or afternoon walk. Douglas and Kate are kind and responsive, always reaching out to make sure the stay is as positive as possible. The accommodation was quaint and cosy for 4 people. The single bathroom is quite small so keep that in mind. Everything was clean and organized and well laid out. We enjoyed spending our mornings drinking coffee or tea on a sun-kissed balcony, surrounded by the sound of birds and squirrels. The beds are really comfy and the dark and quiet nights made for restful sleeps. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy a night out around the fireplace. Really appreciated the hospitality - would visit again for sure.

Wanda was an amazing host with one of the most beautiful and well kept properties we have seen. She was unbelievably accommodating and had the most lovely energy. We really enjoyed how spacious the cottage was, as well as all of the amenities — such as the well stocked kitchen and the thoughtful touches placed throughout the house. The gardens were extremely beautiful and she provided a propane tank for us when we decided to use the grill. We felt very welcome and loved the company of her dog dusty as well 💕 we would absolutely return for a serene getaway again!

We absolutely loved staying at the farm! Lisa is very welcoming and the animals are irresistible. The yurt was charming and peaceful and the amenities were perfect for our stay. We loved visiting with the donkeys (Stanley & Ollie), goats, and cows (Evangeline & Lulu) while strolling through the farm, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. It was as perfect a getaway as we could have hope for. Thank you!

Great place to stay for outdoor bouldering at the Chief! The host was very helpful and responsive.

Incredibly friendly and kind-hearted people! They even offered helpful insider tips—like where to go fishing and how to get a license—before I even arrived. Don’t hesitate to ask questions; they’re always happy to help!

Alderwood Farm is a magical place. It's calm and serene. It's a wonderful escape from city life and we can't wait to come back.

The cabin’s layout was thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and views of nature. The place was very clean and welcoming. It was the ideal place to disconnect and truly take in the serene surroundings. The outdoor sauna was a highlight – it was phenomenal, offering a relaxing experience with stunning views of the river. Overall, it was peaceful and rejuvenating for my partner and I, and we recommend it for anyone looking to escape and enjoy some peace and quiet.

The cabin was amazing. Loved the set up Maria has there. Easy to disconnect and stay off of devices and loose track of time. We were able to see seals and an otter from the cabin. Maria was an excellent host. She checked in to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. The cabin was very clean. Loved it has a charcoal bbq. The kitchen is well stocked with essential cookware. Hopefully will be able to visit again.

We absolutely loved this cute little cabin! Nice and private with everything we needed to enjoy our week on the Island. Our Host Mary was very helpful and checked on us via texts to make sure we were ok. We will definitely choose this place again when we come back! We highly recommend this place. The place was maintained neat and clean. No Complaints. Most suitable for 6 members. Watch out on hot water, may not be enough if more than 6 members. Will be good if a microwave was provided. Overall Nice one.

We had a wonderful time at the beach cabin. A great location for birchbay and in a very quiet neighborhood. You also have a covered porch, where you can lock up your bicycles. The host was great and very responsive to any queations that we may have had. We would love to stay there again.

John’s place is wonderful, beautiful view of the water. There are plenty of places to eat and explore. The cabin is awesome very clean and cozy!!! I will be booking this place again when I come back into town!!!! Thank you John for your hospitality!!!!
